This hotel was very basic but the price was fair. The only problem was the size of the room with three twin beds there was no room to walk around the beds were from wall to wall. Bathroom was very basic and felt that supplies were limited like towels and soap

-insonorisation moyenne, on entend wc et talon des autres chambres et escalier

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel was welcoming and dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was good and the concierge was kind and helpful throughout our visit. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly — a great place to unwind.
Unfortunately, due to a mix-up on our part, we left behind a pair of pants. While we understand this was our mistake, it was disappointing that no one contacted us or made an effort to return them, especially since they were likely found.
Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back — just with a firmer grip on our luggage next time!

We arrived after 8pm (train wasn’t running, so we had to take multiple buses) & front desk was closed. We called & they had upgraded us to a sister location as our room’s lock had broken; it was ~1 block away. We had a difficult time finding the entrance, but once we did, it was easy. Nice & spacious, great AC, our daughter’s bed ready to go! We were able to do the check in via what’s ap & left the city tax in the room so we didn’t even need to go back to the main hotel. Easy walk to restaurants (one even below our room) & lakeside! Would recommend!

Really good location as it’s a 5 min walk from the train station also very close to the ferry.
The room is on the smaller side but that’s expected in Varenna. The gentlemen at the reception was very helpful and they were able to accommodate for late check-in. I would recommend this spot and for the location and the value.

Hi, so this is a quaint little place. Not modern at all. Still use proper keys for the doors, which I like.
The location is ideal, when walking it's literally half way between the train station and ferry port.
It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was totally adequate, there was enough choice for me. Cereals, some cooked, continental choices, pastries and cakes, beverages and juices. The area wasn't huge, most of the tables only seat two people, but it was fine
It was a good price compared to other hotels and I thought it good value for money. The bottom line for me is I would stay there again.
If you are looking for a larger, more modern hotel then this may not be for you. However, if like me, you are of the mind it's just somewhere to get your head down at the end of the day. I thoroughly recommend this little hotel.

Old school hotel, large comfortable room, with usual amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had everything, and was very good. Location was perfect, very walkable. 3 min from ferry dock, 7 min to train station, 10 min to main town square. Highly recommended
