Mercure Civitavecchia Sunbay Park Hotel

This was rated as a 4 star hotel but from our perspective it wasn't even close. The overall condition of the hotel was run down. It requires an extensive upgrade. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a 4 star.

The hotel property location is absolutely beautiful. It appears either under reconstruction or in continual decay. It appears there is little or no staff present other than a couple who manage the front desk and the restaurant/bar alone. Dinner was very good and we appreciated the husband who was the only server and only person present. No one was present at breakfast and no one could figure out the coffee/expresso machine. However, for the price we paid for one night, we would most definitely cone back due to the beautiful view and quality bed and mattress. It was an excellent value for cruise passengers looking for a great night's sleep at a very reasonable rate. Our hope os that it is under improvement as the property is gorgeous and could be turned into a 5 star resort. It's only 4 kilometers from the Civitavecchia cruise port which makes it very convenient. Please know that dinner on their balcony was tremendous and we appreciated the service we received.

Very dated property and decor. Shower was dirty completely covered in black mould. Breakfast was not bad with a good selection. Certainly not a 4 star hotel

Hotel pessimo e vecchio. Stanze scarne , cena e colazione pessime. Sulla pagina di hotels è riportato la palestra che non c’è. Non so come faccia ad avere 4 stelle. Al massimo è un hotel da 1 stella

We visit before our cruise it was very nice and the views are amazing. Our balcony was amazing ……..remember traveling from USA you need euro plugs to charge electronics we didn’t remember .

The accomaodation need renovation, it is good for one night

Je donne 1* à cet hôtel et je la donne à la réceptionniste qui a su très bien nous répondre en français .. merci de ta patience La chambre un gros 0, sale pas d’eau chaude oui on s’est lavé à l’eau froide pleins de moustiques dans la chambres parce que la porte se fermait qu’à moitié pis venez pas me dire qu’il ne le savait pas c’était évident les rideaux avaient des nids d’araignées ( vous savez la mousse blanches ) le balcon tellement sale de poussière de cigarette La bouffe on en parle même pas ce n’est pas digne d’Italie Pour 500$ CA pour 2 nuits c’est extrêmement cher De plus pour notre premier et dernier déjeuner et bien tout était froid à 9:30 Pathétique Pis nous vous fiez pas aux photos de la belle piscine et de la belle plage il en a pas en fait

The staff was wonderful but the room was very dirty. Far from city center and is very difficult to walk especially if you are with a stroller. And the Taxi is reaping you off

3 nights stay, disapointing, strange to know it is a Mercure.

Peccato per le ottime potenzialità che ha il posto, avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione generale e di qualcuno che abbia un occhio accurato e l’esperienza giusta, per presentare le camere con uno standard di pulizia più alto. Sembra tutto abbandonato a sé stesso…. Non so come possa essere classificato come 4 stelle….

Beautiful place with great views

Staff was great. Room looked a little different than pics but overall we had a great experience. Service was great. A little old school with the actual room keys instead digital cards but I kinda liked that. Food at the restaurant was great, and the continental breakfast and coffee were outstanding.

The property is a long way from the port and train it has no transfer options and Taxi are hard to find when the boats are in harbour. They have no working lift and we had to go up four flights of stairs The doors in our room blew open during the night as it didn’t have proper locks The bed was as hard as a rock No phone in the room No decent lighting TV didn’t work The bathroom was clean but shower screen was rusty and would get stuck when you closed it Not any where near a Mecure standard we booked due to the name

Hotel regular bueno por estar relativamente cerca ares turistica 39 min. Pie casi todo el tramo por malecón

Someone needs to alter the description of this hotel . It’s far from upmarket . Rooms are basic , dirty and poorly equipped

This hotel is a complete dump! Furniture is old, damaged, moldy. Totally discusting. Bathroom is old, toilets brown stained, moldy tub. Front desk personnel totally rude and unhelpful. Poor intetnet / wifi available. They list themselves as a 4 star hotel when they aren't even a half star. Spent the whole night sitting in a chair waiting to leave for the port. Never again!

Près du port pas trop dispendieux

La struttura é sul mare con parcheggio di facile accesso. La colazione é essenziale. Il bagno della camera é decisamente datato la doccia non so chiudeva ed aveva evidenti segni di muffa nella parte alta.
