We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. Our bathroom was dreamy with a classic clawfoot tub and beautiful windows. Water pressure was amazing. Our room overlooked a big persimmon tree. You could also hear church bells and the roosters which made the experience. The staff was incredible and very attentive. We were there for a wedding reception which was very well done. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant too. Would highly recommend the hotel for the experience. While the decor was not to my taste and a bit overwhelming, it was still a cool experience overall.

It was a great way to end our two week trip to Italy. Beautiful place and ground. So peaceful. It was like living in a fairytale. Once in a lifetime experience being able to say I stay in a castle in Italy.

Amazing location. Medieval setting. The room was in one of the four towers. Hot tub bathtub was nice. Great food and a superb breakfast. But be aware that this hotel is a popular wedding spot. We arrived late at night and only stayed for the one night. However it was a pleasant stay and dinner was wonderful. The next day was rainy and we didn’t want to walk to the train station they arranged for a ride for us back to the train station. We were very grateful for that.

Staff ware very helpful and nice room was not so clean and we had to ask to clean it since the baby had found a lot of dirt on the floor while being there. The area around is closed at the evening and it is very hard to find a place to eat. The restaurant in the hotel is expansive and not suitable for a baby.
