The location is great, close to the action in Shibuya but far enough from the noise. You are by the train station so you hear the trains but it is not too bad. Rooms are small in Japan, it is better to reserve a room with 2 beds. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast. It was a pickle buffet of cold foods: carrots, mixed veggies, egg salad, fried chicken, fish. There were eggs previously cooked on a table, cold! Margarine, not butter, onion soup. Nothing to do with breakfast or good food.

Room photographs well, however long built-in cabinets along the entire length of room wasted valuable floor area that could have otherwise been used to store luggage, or even just a place to walk around the bed. Also, these cabinets stored Hotel equipment and paraphernalia so a guest could not use them. Overall, although the room was superficially attractive, it did not provide the basics for a traveller to easily access their suitcases.

Very helpful front desk staff. Located in a more quiet area of Shibuya which I liked. Lobby is located on the 4th floor. The one not great issue was cleanliness of the bathroom- sink had some of last occupant’s remnants still there and shower had last occupant’s single hair on the shower wall. But since everything else was great, I would still consider staying here again.

This hotel was very nice with very helpful staff. The amenities bar was extremely generous and much appreciated. The location was ideal in the heart of Tokyo. We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and transportation with ease.

The JR-East Hotel Mets at Shibuya exceeded my expectations.
After leaving an APA hotel in Ueno, I noticed a huge difference being able to control the room temperature here. The room was clean, small (expected), and had everything we needed.
One minor annoyance was the outlets—converters and heavier chargers didn’t sit firmly, though a phone charger was provided and helped.
The bed was decent (the APA bed was slightly better), but being able to sleep in a cooler room during 25+ degree days made a big difference. Staff was helpful, and check-in/check-out was simple.
The location was great—about 7 minutes to Shibuya Crossing and 250 meters to JR lines. For the price, the room and location met expectations, and I’d stay here again.

철도 때문에 소음 걱정했지만, 방음 좋았습니다. 그런데, 주말 투숙 가격 1박 50만원 정도인 부분을 감안하면, 장점은 없었어요. 방 크기, 청결도, 전체적 컨디션이 대체로 보통 수준입니다. 단, 위치적인 이점은 분명히 있었어요. 역을 기준으로 이동이 편하고, 접근성은 매우 좋습니다.

Location, location and location.
Whilst being aware rooms in Tokyo tend to be small, it was still smaller than expected. Breakfast selection was limited.
Location is excellent though, sheltered walkways through mall to Shibuya train station. The closest exit was the new south exit which is directly above the AirPort Express platform. 5 minutes walk to Shibuya Scramble so everything is super accessible.
Probably won’t stay again but highly recommend for people who is just looking for a convenient place to sleep, venture out most of day and night.
