Bahari Dhow Beach Villas

We were to check in at 12pm. We arrived the facility at about 3pm. The rooms were still dirty at the time of arrival, they finally got cleaned at 5pm. The hot water was not functional. Staff attitude to work was horrible. They appeared less concerned to our plight and were very slow towards their duties.

The places is perfectly located with beach and main shops. The staff make it a 7 star! They are awesome

Die erste Unterkunft die mir gegeben wurde hat schlimm gerochen. Das Zimmer war nicht wirklich bewohnbar. Due zweite Unterkunft teilte ich mit einem Italiener. Die Küche war schlecht ausgestattet (Herd musste aus einer anderen Unterkunft gebraucht werden, keine Gläser, im Kühlschrank und der Mikrowelle waren Lebensmittel, die weder mir noch dem Mitbewohner gehörten). Schlafzimmer war jedoch viel besser als das vorherige. Angebot war mit Bademantel, Hausschuhe, Hygiene Artikel; alles nicht vorhanden. Fernseher funktioniert nicht. Internet empfangen auf dem Zimmer nicht vorhanden. Kein Warmes Wasser, zudem Salzwasser. Telefon im Zimmer funktioniert nicht, wenn man etwas benötigt muss man zu Rezeption laufen. Musste 4 Tage dem Wasserkocher hinterherlaufen, hab den dann bekommen nachdem ich mich geweigert habe die Rezeption zu verlassen( Morgens kein Kaffee im Restaurant, wenn man Frühstück nicht gebucht hat). Personal möchte oder kann nicht weiter helfen. Abschließbar nur das Schlafzimmer (jedoch mit einem starken ruck schnell ohne Schlüssel zu öffnen). Das Häuschen ist nicht Abschließbar, Wertsachen am besten mit sich tragen. Restaurant hat meistens fast nix was auf der Karte steht. Es ist einfacher sich erklären zu lassen, was vorhanden ist, als das zu bestätigen was man möchte. Essen ist essbar. Poolwasser grün.Die Aussicht aus dem Restaurant großartig.

Place was quite and I enjoyed it

Toilet leaked and we didn’t have any handtowel in bathroom. We didn’t get despote we asked for it. Beach was nice, staff was friendly and breakfast was ok.

All staff were very helpful and friendly. Food in the beach bar was tasty but unfortunately they didn’t always have everything on the menu including drinks. Rooms were cleaned daily but they need to be updated. Looking quite sorry for themselves as are the pools and outside of the buildings. There needs to be blackout blinds or curtains in the bedrooms as it’s very bright early morning. Also they need to fit shower curtains as the bathroom floor gets soaking.

Esperienza pessima, sconsigliatissimo! / Terrible experience, absolutely avoid this hotel! Non consiglio assolutamente questo hotel. Nonostante avessi prenotato con 3 mesi di anticipo, al mio arrivo mi è stato comunicato che non c'erano camere disponibili. Dopo 3 ore di attesa in reception, senza che mi venisse offerto neanche un bicchiere d'acqua, mi hanno sistemato in un appartamento esterno alla struttura, costringendomi a raggiungere l'hotel a piedi o in tuk-tuk per utilizzare i servizi. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Despite booking three months in advance, I was told upon arrival that no rooms were available. They made me wait for 3 hours at the reception without even offering a glass of water. Eventually, they placed me in an apartment outside the main structure, forcing me to walk or take a tuk-tuk to access the hotel facilities. La pulizia era inaccettabile: i cuscini erano sporchi e gialli, probabilmente macchiati di sudore (o peggio, non voglio nemmeno immaginare cosa). Il bagno era in condizioni igieniche pietose, con una vasca inutilizzabile per la sporcizia. The cleanliness was atrocious: the pillows were dirty and yellow-stained, probably from sweat (or worse—I don’t even want to imagine what else). The bathroom was in a disgusting state, with a bathtub so filthy it was completely unusable. Questo hotel dovrebbe chiudere ed essere ristrutturato/ this hotel should be closed and rinnovate completely EVITATELO/AVOID IT

Was a pleasant stay. Just wish our air worked the first night. We did get switched the 2nd night to a nicer room with air.

Super séjour à l'hôtel, le personnel est adorable, la chambre est correct, Petit bémol pour la literie car matelas pas très confortable, niveau repas beaucoup de chose sur la cette qu'il n'avait pas donc dommage. Mais dans l'ensemble un super séjour merci beaucoup

The property was a mess. Leaking in the bathroom, pillow caseses that dont fit. broken insufficient light. Rust, the list is long.Even for a budget room. The staff were kind and tried to fix everything. But it did not really work. But lovely environment.

Our stay was comfortable and met all our needs

Our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived on Dec 31st. The security at the gate would not allow our Uber to drive into the compound, even after letting them know we were checking in as guests. They asked the driver to drive through a side road, park and use the side entrance. Unbeknownst to us, this was the beach entrance and absolutely did not make sense to use for guest check in. We had to walk through the sand in our travel clothes and shoes to make it through the back entrance. Our only saving grace was a couple of security guards that helped us carry our suitcases after they heard our complaints. The explanation that we got from the Reception was that there may have been confusion as the main gate security guard assumed we were New Year’s party guests and only needed access to the beach but once we clarified that we were indeed guests, the main gate security guard was unapologetic and would not even allow our Uber through the gate a second time to pick us up. We had to walk up a hill and out of the gate to catch our Uber. To make matters worse, on one of the nights, we were dropped off at about 4am, showed the room key to a separate security guard and he let our Uber through the gate, only this time to be followed by a strange man that demanded to see our room key again to confirm we were indeed hotel guests. This whole experience definitely left us feeling targeted and discriminated against. I would never again stay here.

Wir hatten Delux Double Room Poolview gebucht. Toilettenspülung hat nicht funktioniert Badezimmerlicht hat nicht funktioniert, schwarzer Schimmel an der Decke. Balkontür ist verrostet und liess sich nur extrem schwer öffnen und schliessen. Ich glaube man verlässt sich zu sehr auf die hervorragende Lage und meint keine Instandhaltungsarbeiten vornehmen zu müssen. War jetzt das dritte Mal in der Anlage, der Preis ist stetig gestiegen, die Leistung dafür extrem gesunken.
