Lake Nakuru Lodge

The room is not worth the money you pay. Very rundown property. Very disappointing

Nettes Hotel, tolle Location auf dem Berg des Parks mit guter Aussicht. Essen war nett. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Blick auf den Park. Etwas zu teuer, wenn man nur für eine Nacht bleibt und spät ankommt und früh abreißt um zur Safari zu gehen.

Friendly Kenyan hospitality. Lovely nature around. Great food. Reasonable rates at least when we went. Lodge was empty.

Wonderful experience. Beautiful area--rooms have amazing views. Right next to the park with lots of animals in view. Easy to grab a truck to explore the inside of the park. Staff was friendly, the food was pretty-good (not amazing). Note: Motorcycles are not allowed inside the park and the hotel is located inside the park.

The mattress could have been better but all around excellent. All staff without exception were so friendly and helpful. Thank you .

We we very dissappointed. It was not as advertised. There was no wifi in rooms and very limited in common areas, no air conditioning or bath as advertised. They didnt have our booking and was not expecting us. The powerpoints did not work so we had one powerpoint for a fan, lamp and charger for our phones. I requested a partial refund but because of the limited internet my request could not be submitted online.

Lovely location. Service was good but not at par with the great Kenyan hospitality. Chef was very good and helpful The room was in a bad shape. Half the Lights and stitches didn’t work. Bathroom doors didn’t close. Internet Wi-Fi didn’t even work in the rooms. Just 2 small bottles of water in the room. For $400 per night per room, it was a disappointment. Not worth even half

The staff was amazing and the facilities were all that one would need. Very good value. Great park for a day of game driving. Saw lions and rhinos and more. Spent another day just relaxing, reading by the pool, and staring at an unbelievable view. We miss it already and it’s just been a day.

Not bad

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. The grounds are beautiful and expertly maintained. The rooms are super cute and very clean. The staff is very friendly, engaging, and helpful. The view of the valley below is superb which you can gaze from the small deck outside your room. There is a watering hole right outside the dining hall and zebras, cape bufallo, and various antelope come by to drink. Giraffes will also visit the hillside. The food was delicious and plentiful. We became the family known for asking for small plates. The lodge is very close to the entrance to the park. I would highly recommend a visit to Lake Nakuru and the Lake Nakuru Lodge!

Excellent place to stay, with very helpful and approachable staff. Given that there are mosquitos about, and doors need to be kept shut because of possible intruder baboons, the bedrooms could do with better ventilation. The dining room decor, although entirely clean and in good condition, is a bit gloomy. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Loved this place. My room had a porch which looked into the park and giraffes came up pretty close. The pool looked nice though it was a little too chilly to enjoy. The buffet offered a good variety for everyone. The hotel even packed us boxed lunches for the game drive. I highly recommend staying in the park and this place was really nice.

Excellent location. Beautiful property. Friendly staff. But the bed mattress was less than desirable. It felt like a mattes used on a cot.

Lo único que se salva de este hotel es su localización, las piscina, y el jardín... con el resto de cosas nos hemos llevado una gran decepción. La comida deja mucho que desear, la habitación está sucia, la cama es mala, el baño es oscuro y no funcionaba la cisterna (pedimos que la arreglaran y nos miraron con cara de locos). El lugar en el que se encuentra en el parque es insuperable, pero tienen que darle una buena vuelta y cambio al hotel, porque la experiencia en general ha sido muy decepcionante.
