West Breeze Hotel

Easy check in. Always very nice staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable room with good water pressure and fast wifi. Limited (very) tv channels. Make sure you use the mosquito net.

Super nice staff. Nice big room. A little hot without AC, but windows allow breeze (just use the mosquito net). Breakfast was basic but fresh. Maybe they could mix it up a bit but when I was staying there were not many guests so that's probably less cost efficient. Nothing really to do in the local area and you need a taxi/uber to get anywhere. However it's very much on the right side of town for the airport.

Fine hotel for one night, absolutely nothing nearby worth mention. Hotel had nice breakfast and decent dinner.

The only thing going for this place is how close it is to Wilson airport. I wouldn't stay there again. However, if you are on a tight budget and need to stay close to the airport, then this place might work out for you.

Water was not available in the wash room for shower

Very friendly, helpful staff. Its an old hotel buts it clean and the wi-fi's excellent. If you want to experience a local hotel this is the place for you.

Litet trevligt hotell. Lugnt och skönt. Mycket rent. Personalen mycket tillmötesgående. Alla glada och hjälpsamma. En kul sak var att varmvattnet i duschen kom om man vred åt höger, i tvättstället åt vänster. Nybäddat och städat varje dag. Någon gång trasiga lakan och örngott, men dessa byttes ut. Maten bra. Någon dag inget smör någon dag inget kaffe, men detta ordnades genom att man hämtade snabbkaffe. Inget överdådigt frukostbord men helt ok. Vill du ha frukostägg säg bara till. Massage och hand och fotvård fanns också. Ett helt klart bra alternativ bara någon mil från flygplatsen.

First no hot water, as in cold water coming from the hot tap. Then no water at all from the hot tap. Then co cold water. At each stage reception told me it was being fixed. No restaurants for a very long walk and taxis are reluctant to come along the rough track in front of the hotel. Food is poor in the hotel.

I had a very good stay and I liked everything about the hotel

West Breeze Hotel was my favorite of half a dozen places I stayed in East Africa. The rooms were spacious, wifi worked well, room was clean, shower was great, free breakfast was excellent, restaurant had good choices at good prices with the food being delicious, and staff was always very helpful when I had questions or needed something. Location was also great, being fairly central.

For price this place was excellent, free Buffett daily at breakfast, the area was quiet, verses others in downtown. Never, Stay downtown, Noise, Traffic, Safety! This hotel staff were great, they gave us a mini fridge for our room and assisted us with Uber rides. There's a cheap salon on site, and a mall right down street has good food. We will stay again and again.

My stay was on the whole good, rooms are small and the complimentary tea and coffee came with no milk, so I had to buy the milk from the restaurant as and when I required, as there was no fridge to store any chilled items like milk.

The building is unusual and basic but the welcome makes up for any defects. Breakfast lacks imagination but it is good quality. Will use it again.

Hotellet var et af de hoteller, som var tættest på lufthavnen. Jeg ankom sent om aftenen og skulle videre tidligt om morgenen. Jeg fik en slags club-sandwich om aftenen - den var ok. Morgenmaden var "god til prisen". Om morgenen, hvor jeg havde travt for at komme til lufthavnen i tide, var der ingen varm vand. Jeg ringe til receptionen, som ikke kunne forstå, hvorfor der ikke var varmt vand, men de ville sende en medarbejder for at se på det. De sendte godt 10 min. senere den lokale vagt fra indgangen til hotellet. Han strakte hånden under bruseren og konstaterede, at "der ikke var varmt vand". Jeg fik efterfølgende at vide, at rengøringspersonalet havde slukket for det varme vand om morgenen. Ingen vidste hvorfor. TV'et virkede heller ikke. Der kom ingen avis som annonceret. De ansatte var meget venlige og hjælpsomme! For en billig transit-overnatning og prisen taget i betragtning, er stedet "value for money"!
