Ich war zum zweiten Mal im Ellaidhoo und komme gerne wieder

Überaus freundliches Personal, von Kellner, Barkeeper über Zimmerpersonal, Poolattendent bis hin zu den Arbeitern, die täglich fleißig reparieren, renovieren, verschönern und die Insel in Schuss halten - die alle haben immer einen freundlichen Gruß parat, oder plaudern ein passt Worte! Ein Hausriff als Schnorchelparadies, mit allem was man auf dem Malediven gesehen haben muss: Haie, Rochen, Schildkröten und alle bunten Fischen im Übermaß! Durch die kleine Größe der Insel, die Rund und die Freundlichkeit entwickelt sich eine ganz besondere, persönlich angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Internet war diesmal schlechter als bei unseren vorigen Besuchen, aber das wurde gerade renoviert - wahrscheinlich war das der Grund für so manchen Ausfall. Mit der Anreise muss man sich allerdings etwas überlegen: zwar hatten wir Glück und unser Wasserflugzeug ist kurz nach unserer Ankunft am Flughafen in Malé angeflogen, hat aber einen Umweg zu einer anderen Insel gemacht und der Flug dauerte dadurch 2,5 Stunden - normale, direkte Flugzeit ist 15-20 Minuten. Beim Rückflug das Gleiche! Wir überlegen ob wir das nächste mal nicht wieder ein Speedboot nehmen, dass zwar sicherlich zwischen 50 und 70 Minuten benötigt, je nach Wind und Wetter! Alles in allem aber ein super Urlaub mit besten Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Spectacular! One of the best house reef in Maldives!

Very good since 2019 renovation. Great mid-range choice with an excellent house reef.

It was amazing. People are kind and the all inclusive cocktails are delicious. They clean the room twice a day.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days and it was the most amazing trip and experience we’d ever had. Everything was super clean, and we had everything we needed and wanted. The staff were incredible, everyone is so friendly and nice and helpful. Especially Vipula, who greeted you every morning and every evening at breakfast & dinner. And cooked fab meals!

The hotel was super nice. The view was insane. The food options were good and they had so many food options for all kind. The service was great. The staff was available 24/7 and they always kept the room clean. Super good hotel for couples.

Bar Service staff Jessica provided excellent service & made me feel welcomed.

Ellaidhoo is an exellent resort for peaceful, relaxing holiday. Surrounding area is perfect for snorkling even for beginners. Service was very good in Tree Bar and special thanks to Nazeer and Jessica of the warm and welcoming atmosphere they created. It was always an interesting experience to visit that restaurant. Also houskeeping by Adam was way above normal service you get in any hotel. I can fully recommend thid resort to anybody who wish to have a easy holiday in perfect environment.

Be aware, Bad Points - despite the Expedia listing that facilities included the use of water sports activities such as kayaks etc are part of the all inclusive package this turned out to be untrue with a kayak being charged at $50 an hour. The return airport transfer was dangerous as the hotel sent us out in a sub standard boat into a storm which resulted in us returning to the resort after 55 minutes at sea, after taking on too much water. Passengers were sick and crying, fearing for their lives. The management team were very poor at communicating on our return and in their words sent us out “on a bigger boat and a captain that knew what he was doing”. After finally arriving at Male Airport we were soaking wet and so was all our luggage and stinking of diesel from the first boats engines. Annoyingly the customer service team appear to be from the same group as they have failed to respond to our concerns about guest safety. We stayed in an Ocean view superior room but the bathroom was dated compared to other rooms we saw. Good points - service staff are great, special mentions to Shifaau, Raishan, Shareef, Azmoon, Iqbal and Akrum in the restaurants. They looked after us throughout our stay. The Spa and the lady’s there were lovely. Snorkelling on your doorstep is some of the best we had experienced.

Struttura curata e ottima per i suoi servizi! Purtroppo per il brutto tempo non abbiamo potuto godere dei colori incontaminati e del pieno sole maldiviano, che si presentava a spot, ma tutto sommato abbiamo sfruttato al meglio le giornate. Per quanto concerne la water villa è stata un esperienza bellissima! Forse avrei aggiunto la scaletta come mezzo diretto per accedere al mare. Pulizia impeccabile! Grazie Sahoop per la cura! Altra nota positiva: il cibo, molto buono e sempre variegato! Da amanti della frutta ed essendo in un posto esotico, avrei gradito più scelta, ma tarlo mio personale. Per quanto riguarda il bar, un ringraziamento speciale va a Nazeer, per averci coccolato,per aver risposto alle nostre curiosità maldiviane e per la sua prontezza nell'accontentare le nostre esigenze 🍹. Oltre a lui anche gli altri del team sono stati molto solari, in particolare Jessica e il signore dello Sri Lanka che conosceva qualche parola in italiano. Ho trovato solo un pò troppo freddi i ragazzi della reception (ci siamo interfacciati sempre con degli uomini) che nonostante gli avessimo specificato di non parlare un inglese molto fluente non ci sono venuti molto incontro nel farci capire le info di cui necessitavamo. (Io usavo il traduttore e loro rispondevano in inglese velocemente). Ah per ultima cosa di cui sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa è stato l'esperienza snorkeling con il ragazzo del diving. Nonostante a mio avviso sia un pò caro è sicuramente un'esperienza da non perder

Atention of the staff was not the desired one.

What is there to say about this property. Whilst staying here for a week of vacation I was made to feel at home by the most amazing staff I have ever come across on my travels. It started with Gehani, who welcomed my partner and I to the island, and made every request we had to her come through. She was one of the most helpful and genuinely caring persons we met who helped make us feel at home at this resort. Also, sucil and leem went above and beyond to always ensure our needs were met and that anything we asked for was available to us. The food was amazing every single day and we particularly liked chef sanjewa who always provided quality meals. Additinally, moosa helped make our stay within our villa always magical with his birthday and honeymoon celebratory creations. Whilst the staff were amazing and created a truly enjoyable stay, I cannot even begin to talk about the reef which surrounds this island. I’ve snorkeled many places around the world and this was truly the most beautiful, vibrant and alive reef with thousands of fish, sharks, and rays we’ve ever seen. I was truly astounded and loved that the staff continue to make every attempt to protect the reef. I will recommend this resort to anyone who loved snorkeling and diving and who really enjoys being a part of a family because the staff at this resort truly make you feel at home.

Overall the property is well kept. The water bungalow is nice and clean. One of best snorkeling in the Maldives. It's quite and relaxing. If you're looking for a lot of entertainment then this is not your place. There're only two restaurants. Food options were not great. I give it a two stars on the way the food was prepared. Not very tasty. I would not pick this resort if you are a foodie person. Some staff are not very friendly.

We stayed 9 days for scuba diving The reef is amazing. One of the best I saw. You see everything snorkeling: sharks, turtles, stingrays… The facilities of the hotel are good and the personal is friendly “A la carte” restaurant service is super slow but anyways if you are in holidays. I experienced a decompression accident. I still do not know the exact reasons… I saw 2 specialist here in France. When the accident happened, the scuba diving center did not came to my room to see if I was ok. They just called me the day after asking me to give back my equipment!!! I was not able to walk!!! Divers’ safety IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF DIVING CENTER My wife saw the owner of the diving center. He told her my accident “was not good for the business” IT’S A SHAME!!! The doctor in the island is friendly and took care of me, but he is clearly not trained for diving accidents. Another point, the equipment of diving center is in bad conditions. My gear was broken. Very good resort but do not go to the diving center

Absolutely outstanding week in a water bungalow. Excellent staff and service, facilities, food and could not have had a more brilliant time. It is a magical island and surrounded by unbelievably beautiful incredible sea life. Could not recommend more highly. Susil and Aalif in the outdoor dining, Schoag our room attendant, Shareef at the pool restaurant and Dinnusha the pool lady .... were all especially 5*****!

El lugar es fantástico, hay una combinación entre tranquilidad y belleza natural única, que permite disfrutar y desconectarse de todo, ampliamente recomendable el sistema de todo incluido
