We had an excellent stay and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The property was spotless—cleanliness was absolutely perfect. The towels were newer with a decent thread count and the decor was fresh and dust free…even the silk plants! Communication with the property manager was clear, prompt, and professional from start to finish, which made everything, even check-in seamless. The location is ideal, especially being so conveniently close to the Valletta bus station. You literally can get anywhere on the island within 45 minutes! The staff onsite were genuinely friendly, attentive, and engaging, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property without hesitation—and in fact, we enjoyed it so much that we stayed there again. We wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.

The room was very comfortable and the access to food, buses, and history was very easy. The staff communicated quickly and were quite helpful. Really great stay! I highly recommend.

great location, convenient for sightseeing

The apartment is situated in a safe area of Valletta in walking distance of all the city attractions. The apartment is well equipped and has all of the kitchen facilities you require. A washing machine was a major benefit. The major criticism of the ground floor, one bedroom flat was the lack of wardrobe facilities, particularly if you were sleeping on the sofabed. It should be noted that there was also very little escape from street noise if sleeping on the sofabed. Communication wasn't great. It was a week before my questions via Expedia were addressed. Despite being told I would be advised how to check-in 48 hours before arrival - I wasn't. Overall the one bedroom flat is good - with a little adjustment it could be great.

We had a fantastic stay at Ellul Living near Valletta. The apartment has been recently renovated to a very high standard and is beautifully furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, although with so many great restaurants within walking distance in Valletta’s old town, eating out is very tempting. The luxurious bathroom featured a large rain shower with handheld option, quality toiletries, and plush bathrobes, giving a real resort-style feel. The large TV had streaming and casting capabilities, which was a great bonus. The communal rooftop terrace was a highlight, offering stunning views of a nearby park, Valletta’s walls, and the co-cathedral, with comfortable seating and a BBQ. The only minor downside was the stairs, but the manager kindly helped us with our luggage. Located just outside Valletta’s walls, it was easy for taxis and public transport, making it perfect for exploring Malta. Excellent value for money and a wonderful example of affordable luxury.

Nice kitchen. Very low height to the bathroom. Maybe around 180 cm. I am 201 cm tall. Very nice that the bed was 210 cm. Compact living in a nice format.

What a hidden gem :) A lovely one bedroom apartment (kitchen/dining room, bedroom, and bathroom), all high quality and spotlessly clean. No view, but that doesn’t matter because the rooftop terrace is amazing. Only a 10 minute gentle stroll from/all the action downtown, it’s a perfect location. I will definitely stay there again. One advice on logistics though: ‘Ellul’ was a sucessful businessman in Malta many, many decades ago and there are several businesses that share his name, which can be confusing if your are trying to find this place. Just FYI, the What3Words for the location are ///walkway.topped.daily Highly recommended :)

We arrived at 8:30pm so considered a late check in. This would have been fine - we were given clear directions to collect the key however on entering the apartment the sofa bed had not been made up. Our booking was for 2 adults and 2 children so it was obvious that we would need the sofa bed. We tried contacting the phone number we were given in case of problems multiple times and messaged as well but no one answered either the phone or the message until after 9am the next morning. This meant we had a very unpleasant first night in the apartment as there weren’t even any spare blankets provided so we had 2 towels and one bed for 4 people. This was rectified the following morning but given the fact that the issue was the fault of the owner having no way to contact anyone out of hours is not acceptable. And still no apology for the inconvenience…. It is a shame because the apartment was very clean and in a great location but our terrible first night put a real dampener on the holiday. I would recommend the apartment as long as you don’t need to contact anyone out of hours. We wouldn’t have needed to contact anyone if the apartment had been made up correctly in the first place.

Fantastic location within minutes walk for the city gates. Large, nicely decorated apartment with all the amenities we'd expect. Roof terrace is a nice addition.

A fantastic apartment close to Valletta gates. The rooms were very well appointed with a comfortable bed and plenty of seating options. Cracking roof top terrace with a lovely view.

Good sized two bedroom apartment, well furnished and spotlessly clean. In a quiet spot opposite the Mall in Floriana (about 10minute stroll from Valletta). Great communication by hosts with a useful video on how to access apartment. The communal roof terrace was a real bonus

Clean room, easy check in instructions, clear communication, spacious apartment

We arrived late at 01:00 midnight but the check in process was easy as we received a video a day before on how to get the code from key box. The apartment is spacious and well equipped including a lounge, open kitchen, a double bed bedroom with en-suite. It was very clean with good condition furniture. Location is perfect only takes 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The manager we meet everyday was incredibly attentive and kind, it’s clear they genuinely care about their guests. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Special thanks to the hotel manager.

Fantastisk hyggelig leilighet, pent oppusset og manglet ingen ting. God seng!Takterrasse med flott utsikt. Nibin møtte oss ved ankomst, bar kofferter, ga info og ved avreise var han der igjen! Området Floriana er rolig, men samtidig nært til alt. Kommer veldig gjerne tilbake til Lillul Living

The apartment we stayed in was clean, tidy and lovely. All comforts provided . Staff very helpful. Location was great . Easy access to the centre, and transport iwoukd stay again.
