Chantli Mare

The rooms were fine, but there is certainly signs of deferred maintenance. Loose plumbing fixtures, broken light fixtures, no explanation on operation of A/C, television, etc. Just beginning to show its age. On the other hand, the staff are all great, food very good and THE BEACH!!!!! Would we go back? Doubtful due to deteriorating conditions.

A excepción del chef el resto del staff amable, sin duda alguna recomendaría contratar a un chef mexicano que tenga la calidez, excelente servicio y la pasión por consentir a sus comensales que solo los mexicanos sabemos (y queremos dar); las personas que atienden en el restaurante siempre con una sonrisa y súper amables. En la cena cuando llegaron nuestros platillos, los trajo el chef, su “atención” fue meramente dejar los platos en la mesa, nunca nos dirigió la mirada, ni un “provecho” o “que lo disfruten”… o ya si el español no se le da…. Un “Bon apettit”… nada. El corte Steak Saigón estuvo muy bueno, los camarones a la diabla definitivamente para nada recomendables.

Beautiful walking beach, great food from Greg the world class chef, staff were all very pleasant.

We’ve been to Boca de Iguanas many times before over a 35 year period because it has the best bodysurfing beach and we’ve eaten at the restaurant at Chantli Mare several times… it’s so good! This was our first stay at Chantli Mare and it was delightful… the staff, the room, the ambiance are all delightful. For our last dinner there, we asked Greg, their notable chef, to cook us a couple of lobsters in any way he thought appropriate and his preparations were fabulous! And they even let us plug in our electric/gas hybrid car for free. A beautiful place and fantastic staff.

This boutique hotel is AWESOME!! We LOVED our beautiful, beachfront stay @ the Chantli Mare! Owner Roberto & his beautiful wife are the most welcoming couple who immediately become your best friends & attend to every detail of excellence for your stay. The expansive beach is exquisite with crashing waves - so therapeutic. You can walk for hours or visit the nearby quant town. The DECADENT meals artistically infused with Mexican flavours by world famous Chef Greg are an AMAZING experience!

El lugar es muy tranquilo, especialmente si vas a descansar, la comida es deliciosa y a precio justo, la atención de los anfitriones es bastante buena. Totalmente recomendado.

Estuvimos muy a gusto, te hacen sentir como en casa, Norma en la recepción y Jovani en el Restaurante excelente servicio y atención, desde la mañana con un rico café y pan, cortesía del hotel, el desayuno continental bien servido basto, y la comida en general deliciosa, sin duda lo recomiendo ampliamente.

El aseo de la ropa de cama dejó mucho que desear, al igual que las toallas de baño que estaban bastante desgastadas

This is a wonderful spot for a romantic getaway or to have peaceful rejuvenation on one of the nicest stretch of beach. The staff is just so welcoming and efficient.

Pasamos unas vacaciones muy relajadas en familia, excelente servicio de todo el personal. El restaurante muy rico y muy cómodo. El mar de esa zona está muy padre, nos tocó la arena muy limpia sin piedras. El hotel es pequeño solo tiene 7 habitaciones lo cual está padre para disfrutar más las áreas comunes porque la alberca es pequeña. Muy padre el detalle que todas mañanas te tengan listo café y galletas de cortesía afuera de las habitaciones. Aire acondicionado, televisión y todos los servicios funcionan perfecto. Sin duda volveríamos!
