Loved our room. On the beach and by the pool

Tivemos uma experiência extremamente desagradável neste hotel. Minha esposa foi constrangida por um funcionário enquanto aguardava meu retorno de um passeio para efetuar o pagamento do café da manhã, que era cobrado à parte da hospedagem. Mesmo explicando que estava apenas esperando que eu voltasse, pois eu ficaria responsável pelo pagamento, o funcionário agiu com total falta de bom senso e respeito. Ele não saiu de perto dela, tratando-a como se fosse uma suspeita de furto, o que gerou uma situação humilhante, desnecessária e extremamente desconfortável. Estávamos hospedados no hotel, tínhamos vínculo com a estrutura e, ainda assim, ela foi tratada de maneira inaceitável. Esperávamos acolhimento e profissionalismo, e infelizmente vivemos o oposto.

Wonderful

The first time in my life I ever left a property after only the first night, would not have even stayed the night, no other options. The dirtiest room I had ever been in. Soon as we entered room, noticed bedding, down to mattress had multiple staining. My partner, wouldn’t even shower, we were given new bedding, new mattress was so old caused back aches for us. I could go on….

Staff was incredibly great hospitality Claudia at the pool and Vincento were the best !!

Perfect relaxation retreat!

Best place on the island. This was our 4th time to stay there. We love it. Great for kids too.

The Restaurant prices are outrageous expensive.

Excellent service

This hotel was beautiful. Beyond extremely clean. The pool facing the beach and the sunset was outstanding. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Loved the pool menu as the food was great and love our waitress Claudia, who was a doll but not so much the food in the dining room ( day and night). Would not recommend an all inclusive. The only bad thing for us was if you have children especially, having a refrigerator in your room is ideal and none of the rooms had. Breakfast buffet was not good at all and it was the only option for breakfast which we did not like either. Better food and small refrigerator in rooms. would have gave it a 5 star for me But overall, it was good.

The pool area was great and beach surface, however walking into the water with its muddy bottom and very uneven footing heights make it difficult for some older people. It could be dredged for evenness and sand to make it attractive and pleasant. Not many people in the ocean water there, yet basically no waves to undercut nor eroded to facilitate my recommendation

Meat and Lobster are indeed not part of the All Inclusive Option. The beach is nice but just for sunbathing. Drink are not made with top shelf alcohol. Overall a good hotel in the island.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Izla Hotel. The waitstaff, bartenders, and front desk staff were very nice and attentive for the most part. My husband and I stayed in a beautiful room on the fifth floor with a gorgeous view of the ocean and a tub on the porch. The rest of my family stayed on the first floor with direct access to the beautiful pool. We had no trouble getting pool chairs every day. The beach is quite small, we spent very little time there. The restaurants were delicious. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the week. A few things we didn't love. After ordering drinks via poolside service, my husband got up and paid the bar tab. We were followed by two staff after we got up to leave asking us to pay our bill. The first time was okay, the second time was verging on harassment as they followed us all the way to the elevators. I would recommend ordering from the bar directly and paying your bill to reduce any confusion. The turn down service left a bit to be desired. We started off with two full sized towels and two robes. (I think more full sized towels would have been appropriate, but having robes helped.) After our first room cleaning, we came back to only one full sized towel, one of our robes was gone, and we didn't get new bottles of water. We had to call repeatedly to get basic amenities, our robe was never returned. The fridge didn't work in our room and my parent's room on the first floor didn't contain a fridge at all.
