Riad Al Boraq

We stayed for 6 nights at Riad Alboraq and Michele's hospitality is incomparable. She took care of every small detail for us and made sure our stay was as comfortable as it could possibly be. All our (untimely) requests were responded to with a big smile from her and her staff. Her excellent recommendations and advise were very helpful in navigating through the city. The Riad is located within 10-15 min walk to the main souks and the maderasa and has some really nice restaurants within walking distance. Riad itself is very nice and comfortable and you will feel like at home with their warm hospitality. It has a rooftop terrace and a pool downstairs and the staff is happy to serve you breakfast/dinner wherever you wish. All in all a great little gem hidden away in the old town. Would advise to have the Riad arrange to pick you from the airport, cheaper and hassle-free. Will definitely stay here again when we go back!

The owner was very helpful and contacted us before arrival. Spent 2 nights and was within 15-20 minute walking distance to souks, main square. The owner, Michelle, gave excellent instructions so we were easily able to avoid getting lost! Dinner at riad was provided the 1st night and was lovely. MIchelle made reservations for us the 2nd night and it was superb food and location minutes from this riad!

Vi var på 1 veckas semester i Marrakesh och bodde på Riad al Boraq. Vi hade stor hjälp av ägaren som gärna informerade om Marrakesh och bokade de utflykter vi ville. Övrig personal var trevliga och hjälpsamma. God frukost. Mysig takterass som vi använde för att äta frukost, sola, dricka en flaska vin på kvällen.

After a little trouble finding our way, we walked through the doors of Riad Albouraq and were instantly put at ease. Mohammed gave us a very comprehensive overview of how to get around and he and the rest of the staff took excellent care of us the entire time. The Riad itself is beautiful and incredibly peaceful with a fantastic rooftop terrace and extremely comfortable rooms. Just be ready to tip any locals who help you find your way.

A little out of the way, but still in walking distance to the souks & main square. The owner was great, spoke French & English and gave us some really good advice on what to do and see.

UN RIAD MUY RECOMENDADO

Das Raid Al Boraq, das Mitten in der Medina von Marrakesch liegt, hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastfreundschaft, die Hilfsbereitschaft und der Service liesen keine Wünsche offen.

Wir wollten 1 Woche Urlaub in Marrakesch machen, es sollte ein Riad sein im orientalischen Stil. Die Wahl fiel aufs Riad Al Boraq. Uns gefielen die Bilder und Bewertungen, also wurde schnell gebucht. Der E-Mail Kontakt bis zur Ankunft war vorzüglich. Flughafentransfer war geregelt ( laut Expedia Beschreibung 15 MAD = 1,50€, in Wirklichkeit aber 15€!!!), Mittagessen war auch reserviert, ebenso Abendessen. Dass der Pool erst ab April betrieben wird, war auch eine ( unangenehme) Überraschung, denn dies wurde in der Annonce auch nirgendwo erwähnt. Schade eigentlich, denn die Temperaturen , bis 29 Grad, hätten ein Bad im Pool zugelassen. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, jedoch fehlte auch hier leider der Wasser/Kaffeekocher, der in der Beschreibung versprochen wurde. Das Personal und die Managerin lasen uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Die Mahlzeiten konnten sehr individuell eingenommen werden, so wie wir es wollten. Dies war für uns sehr angenehm, da wir vormittags Marrakesch erkunden wollten und mittags zwischen 12 und 14 Uhr zurück im Riad waren, dann erst einen Kaffee getrunken haben und danach das Mittagessen genossen hatten. Ausflugstipps gab es reichlich. Der Urlaub war ein voller Erfolg.

Vi havde et skønt ophold på Riad Alboraq. Riad'en er omhyggeligt og smukt indrettet og har en fantastisk tagterrasse til de solrige stunder. Der er pertentligt rent og vi fik smukke, friske blomster på værelset. Det allerstørste plus er den dog franske indehaver Michele, som kredsede for os og fandt de helt rigtige udflugter, restauranter, hammam, tips om Marrakech/taxipriser mm. Vi var på riad'en i februar, hvor der var lidt koldt, hvilket husene i Marrakech ikke er bygget til, men Michele havde sørget for elektriske varmelagner, ligesom der er klimaanlæg og sågar en ekstra varmeblæser på toilettet. Det øvrige personale var også meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Riad'en ligger i en lidt "øde" og snæver gyde, men vi kunne blive hentet af Mohammad fra et lidt større, nærliggende plads, hvis vi ringede i forvejen. Det benyttede vi os dog ikke af, da vi følte os meget trygge og velkomne i området. Der er gratis wifi, der virker upåklageligt i fællesområderne, men lidt mere trægt på værelserne.

Geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtetes Riad. Perfekter Service, jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Aufmerksames und sehr freundliches Personal und eine tolle Managerin.

Located down a quiet street in the Medina, Riad Al Boraq allowed for us to stay near the centre but also enjoy some relaxing escapism. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, serving mint tea and Moroccan pastries and helping with any enquiries. The terrace is great for relaxing when not out exploring and the pool is great for a refreshing (it's freezing!) dip. Would definitely recommended for anyone looking to stay in the old town.

Il posto è decisamente bello e il personale molto disponibile. Ci si sente proprio coccolati e ad ogni momento c'è un interlocutore che si prende il tempo di spiegare, consigliare, accompagnare .... Veramente, una sistemazione consigliatissima per chi intende godersi Marrakech evitando il turismo di massa.
