Inle Star Hotel

Tte location is one of the best. Beautiful view of the river, next to the boats, and quiet. Just around the corner there is a busy street with plenty of commerce, convenience stores, Restaurants and the market is about 5 blocks away. the room was large, very clean, good A/C, TV and Wifi. In all floors they have a small terrace as smoking area. The breakfast was a lot better than expected and you can also order some items a la carte. The best part was the service. They have a doorman and the entrance od the property, the staff always smiling and ready to help. They arrange boat trips and tours for a very competitive price and they even bought my bus ticket for my return to Mandalay. Considering the low price, it was an amazing deal. Highly recommended to everyone

Very good stay. Good location being right on the canal. Roof top terrace was amazing to watch activity on the canal and street below. Breakfast was good. Only negative was that the bedding and towels had a moth ball smell if you are sensitive to odours.

This hotel is amazing value, the large room is very clean and comfortable. The free WiFi was very good throughout the hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful particularly at reception when we arrived. A substantial breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant with good views over the surrounding area. The hotel is on the river with many boats ready to take you on a tour of the lake and although they can be heard from 5-6am we didn't find this too intrusive. There isn't a lift so anyone with mobility issues may want to ask for a ground floor room. Would definitely stay here again
