Crowne Plaza MAASTRICHT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

I booked the room with breakfast but I was surprised that this was not recorded in their system which had incurred about 130 Euros plus taxes.

Bar service extremely good. Went above and beyond. Woken in the morning by workmen hammering next door. When asked at checkout about I stay i mentioned then being woken by workmen and no warning and the receptionist shrugged her shoulders and said that doesn’t normally happen! Also forgot to give us the ticket to get out of the csrpark

Goda moctails och mat på hotellet, fantastisk frukost. 10/10

This property needs better trained staff. Because the wifi signal in my room was weak causing a slow internet access, I went to the front desk to see if other room with a stronger signal was available, but one of the staff basically told me to suck it up. He said you might be used to a fast internet, but I had to put up with the slow access. I could not believe my ears. I thought hotels like Crowne Plaza have highly professional staffs?

Gut:Freundliches Personal,sehr gute Lage,Zimmer mit Blick auf die Maas sehr empfehlenswert und sauber Weniger gut: Frühstück reichhaltig,aber zu teuer,kein Fahrstuhl in die Tiefgarage,nur steile Treppe,Matratzen zu weich

The hotel overall was good. However, the restaurant at lunch time service range from terrible to nonexistent. For instance, the first day (Friday), the waitress took our order and disappeared for about 20 minutes, we had to flag another waiter to find out why our drinks had not arrived. He apologized and said the waitress was new, but he took our order and brought the wrong food... On the second day, the restaurant manager escorted us to a table and again we waited to be served and no one came to take our order until we complained, at that point, we have had enough and left.. Coincidentally, a couple sitting next to us also complained and said they had waited for about an hour to be served. Overall, the lunch service was terrible..

A very nice hotel with amazing staff and great location. Walking distance to everything.

Een vreselijk verblijf

Always wanted to stay here. Only disappointment was that I could hear everything in the room next to mine through an adjoining door. But a nice spacious room, beautiful breakfast room overlooking the river with a good spread of food. Well positioned of course for the train station, shopping or a short bus ride to the MECC

Struttura che avrebbe bisogno di una manutenzione nelle camere. Il bagno ha ancora una vasca e un pannello tutto scrostato a fianco. Non credo che sia normale per un hotel di questa categoria e con queste tariffe presentare delle camere di categoria superiore con questo tipo di installazione.

Service really good. I booked last minute requested a crib and after 10 mind I got a message that everything was ready for my arrival. King bed really comfortable. Only bad thing is that a guest activate the alarm at 3 am in the morning and me and my family were not able to sleep again ;( the technicians came to the floor ans checked properly until discovered it wasn’t real fire

Under den forventede standart, og enorm dårlig service ved personalet, som i meget ringe grad kunne besvare spørgsmål om f.eks. parkering eller opladning af el-bil. Til trods for begge ting indgår i deres markedsføring, er de på ingen måder oplyste eller behjælpelige og henviser til parkerings - eller ladefirma. Alarmen gik om natten. Der var meget sen rengøring. Værelserne vare meget nedslidt og fertilitet er nedslidt! Dog lækker morgenmad.

Midden in centrum

The hotel in the middle of town. Walkable from the shops. the breakfast section was really good. The bar was very nice too.
