The staff are friendly and helpful. We borrowed an outlet adapter from them as ours didn’t work in NZ. We have asked our tour guide to return it to the hotel as the tour guide couldn’t stop at the hotel location. We hope he’ll return the adapter to the hotel soon. Thank you City Center Hotel for your kind help and understanding! Next time when we come to Christchurch, we’ll stay with you again.

Das Hotel an sich ist nicht schlecht und in ca.10 Minuten ist man im Zentrum.
Flughafenshuttle um 3.00 Uhr morgens hat gut funktioniert, kostet 25,00 NZD und muss vorgebucht werden.
Frühstück bekommt man abgepackt am Abend aufs Zimmer gestellt.
Einrichtung ist unzweckmäßig, Küche sehr klein und eng und Kühlschrank geht in falsche Richtung auf, so dass es alles noch komplizierter macht.
Wasser im Bad am Waschbecken braucht eine Ewicgkeit bis es warm ist.
Leute vom Nachbargrundstück können einen aufs Bett schauen. Hier fehlt definitiv eine Gardine.
Zimmer 803 nicht zu empfehlen, gleich daneben ist die Laundry und macht fürchterlich krach.
Möbel sind abgeranzt.
Scheck soweit ok, aber es fehlte an jeglicher Information. Man konnte mir nicht mal sagen, was der Bus kostet und wie ich das Ticket bezahle, (der genau vor der Tür hält -Nr. 27).
Lebensmittel gibt es leider nicht gleich um die Ecke, 10-15 Minuten walk.
Ich würde das Hotel nur wegen der Lage wieder nehmen.

Clean well located motel. Easy parking, walkable to centre of christchurch, near restaurants and bars. Bed was comfy, reasonably quiet considering building works nearby.

Close proximity to the CBD and some nice cafés (especially Affogato, a short walk away). Convenient off street and on-street parking.
My only concern was with the bed that probably should have been replaced a while ago. Otherwise, good, clean, basic accommodations.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

お湯を出すときに先に必ず水が出るのを避けられなかった。みずがさむすぎた。お湯が途中で出なくなり、水になった。

Unfortunately I had a fall up the steps on my arrival and hit my head on the stairs and grazed my leg. There was no Report made or follow up by the Staff member and she didn’t even tell anyone higher up. There was no follow up to make sure I was okay either.

This was a very affordable option. There is some basic refreshing - painting etc that needs doing but overall very comfortable /good bed able/ to make a cuppa though always hate the lack of fresh milk There is no reception early morning and evening but they facilitated my entry OK
I would consider using again
