Sencillamente, excepcional. La cantidad de animales que tienes al alcance... No dábamos crédito!!

In short, we had a pleasant stay. However, there were certain problems. Apparently, they were short of staff, so in order to enter the urbanization where the hotel is located, because there’s a gate, we had to wait for someone of the area who wanted to enter the urbanization to be able to enter with them. The room was large because it was a suite with a rustic touch and we had a balcony with a jetted tub which it was very nice but the shower near the tub didn’t work. At dinner, since there was not much staff, the receptionist had to cook us a dish, of which they did not have much food either so the vast majority of the menu was not available. Even though the hotel has a pool the jacuzzi’s was not available.

David the manager welcomed us, he and his staff were very attentive the whole stay, and informative about the wildlife. Watching the birds was very relaxing, and the bonus was a Sloth sighting. Unfortunately we had rain for a day so that cramped the exploring abit. Kayaking on the nearby lake was peaceful

Nice private retreat in upscaled gated rural community amid the tropical forest. Good food and drinks. Easy drive from airport. Very comfortable and relaxing. Only drawback is lots of stairs without handrails, so not suitable for someone with mobility issues. Highly recommended.

If you want quiet cooler outdoor space amongst trees and birds, without phones, music, hustle, then you'll fit into this place. La Semilla was unique for it's peaceful and relaxing nature and retention of tree cover surrounding the mountan property (within a residential private estate).. David and lady that prepared food were lovely! A genuine host that cares about the natural world and wildlife. I hope the owners of the property continue to do so and conserve forest coverage as much as possible too. Food was nice. Basic for the price, but nice. Lovely room, decor and comfortable big bed. What I most enjoyed were the green trees around the balconies, the birds, quiet, and there only being a couple of other outdoor type people and space to do yoga. The only downside were the too many dogs of neighbouring houses. And the set of dogs that woke me up ferociously marauding something in the night (which I pray wasn't a sloth or other wildlife). Getting to La Semilla by Uber was fine, but finding transport back a little trickier, so take the number of a reliable taxi perhaps. And tell them how to get into the estate that La Semilla sits within. Also be aware, that even though it seems as though you pay with Expedia beforehand, you'll need to pay at the time of stay. Mi reserva nunca apareció en el sistema del hotel por lo tanto nunca abrieron el portón para llegar, a pesar de los innumerables intentos de comunicarme con ello… Nadie abrió

Me encantó la sensación de contacto con la naturaleza. Lo unico terrible fue que en el hotel contiguo se realizaron actividades con música y altoparlantes a todo volumen que impedían el descanso mental.

Agradable lugar para descansar, las instalaciones están en buen estado, la atención es buena. La comida si es un poco cara par lo que ofrecen

Excelente , la atención fue muy buena , para volver a desestresarse.

We enjoyed our stay at La Semilla immensely. We were treated like royalty by the staff, Daisy and Luce. The hotel is uniquely designed to complement the surrounding rainforest and includes a jacuzzi as well as a sauna. Our room was clean and tastefully designed. We will definitely be returning.
