El personal muy atento y servicial, apezar que no podiamos desayunar por los horarios de nuestros tours, nos dieron un agua, torta y una fruta todas las mañanas siendo a las 3 o 4 de la madrugada, se cumplió en puntualmente nuestro traslado al aeropuerto, el restaurante muy agradable asi como su personal y alimentos, lo recomiendo ya que esta sobre la avenida donde se encuentran cajeros, antros, agencias de Peru rail e Inca rail y puedes caminar en todo el centro con confianza. Solo un detalle al ser una de las avenidad principales el ruido de vehículos (claxón) es constante.

The room was great for our needs. No hangers, no safe in room, if there is a way to control the temperature, never did locate it. The bed was comfortable, as well as the pillows and blankets. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower. The property offers a free continental style breakfast. There is also a restaurant on site for other meals. The is a convenience store on site for snacks and water. It is within walking distance of some of the tourist destinations such as Plaza de Armas and the train station/san pedro market. We would stay again if in the area.

Stay here if you just need a room. Very plain and not at all fancy. Staff are friendly, but condition of the place is really just very ok. Like many hotels in the region, we had issues with not having hot water at first, but hotel did help "fix" the problem so we got luke warm water.

This is an older hotel run by a family. It is in the quieter area about 3 blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom is also small and very basic. Our biggest concern was the lack of water pressure and that we had to wait for the warm water to run - sometimes with 10 minutes wait. The breakfast was very standard here and you had constant access to the dining room where you could get tea or just hot water. This was not a bad stay, it fairly decent, but there are other, better options. We did enjoy the fact that it was very quiet here, but if walking to the main attractions is not your thing, than this place is not a good fit.

The people at sol del oriente are some of the kindest staff ive ever met. They were super punctual and always happy to lend a helping hand. Big shoutout to darlene and juan-carlos for their hospitality! The only cons I have are of the room, the rooms are definitely showing ageing and water pressure and water temperature were an issue. However, at the end of the day, the room was still fairly comfortable and very affordable. Absolutely amazing proximity to wanchaq station.
