On the positive side, the historical suite is magnificent. Well worth a try to travel back on time to the early 20th century. But they need to modernize a bit. USB plugs, power plugs that aren't all a few inches of the ground, a garbage ( maybe 2!!) And turn on the A/C. My room had a/c but the system was off. Made it very hot which forced me to open the windows and hear all the yelling from the street.
Breakfast was ok but bare bones. They could do much better! And they charge you if you want a cappuccino for breakfast instead of their stale coffee even if breakfast was included. Breakfast needs a serious revamp! Choices were very limited
Location is amazing. 2 minutes from the train station and airport shuttle. Super convenient. 3 minutes from the national museum and Stanislas square. Can't get more practical. But the park outside the train station ( Sherwood forest ) is a bit dodgy. Not dangerous, just unsightly. Lots of homeless and drunks minding their business.
Overall mixed feelings. This was once a very high end hotel. In some aspects it remains so. But in many areas they need to add modern conveniences to old world charm

Es un hotel que necesita una renovación, nuestra habitación tenía una bañera enorme con cortinas de baño,el desayuno normal para un tres estrellas, no cinco y esa serian las estrellas cómo mucho .
En positivo es el que esté al lado de la ópera y la estación.

Wonderful short stay at the Esplanade Hotel. Very convenient location, just steps from the main train station and still within easy walking distance of principal sights and the metro. Very comfortable room, quiet, with a good bed and strong wifi. Excellent breakfast selection. Grateful for early check-in too.

すごく暗い雰囲気で、アダムスファミリーの洋館と言った感じ…
スイートに泊まりましたが、え？？って感じでした。
歩けばミシミシと床が鳴ります。
クローゼットは大きなタンスが2台置いてあり、部屋を占拠してます。
扉はちゃんと閉まりません。
とにかく、とても残念でした。

プラハのメインステーションまで徒歩5分ほどで鉄道、メトロ、トラムどの交通にも便利です。
メインステーションにはBILLAというスーパーマーケットがあるのでお水やちょっとした買い物にもすぐに行けます。
ヴァーツラフ広場へも近いのでショッピングや食事にも困りません。
部屋は清潔で毎日綺麗にお掃除して下さっていました。
今回は予約にミスがありバスタブの無い部屋になってしまいましたが、予約の際エグゼクティブルームを予約すればバスタブ付きの部屋を取れると思います。
朝食は種類は多くはありませんが丁寧に作られている印象を持ちました。
味は良いと思います。
前回泊まった時にヨーグルトは自家製だと聞きました。
レストランのスタッフの皆さんがとてもにこやかでサービスが良く気さくで、毎朝楽しく朝食を頂けました。
