This is such a beautiful Estate with history and incredible charm! The staff was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed dining in and had fun with the staff in the bar. Everything about our stay was fabulous and we felt very well taken care of. We would highly recommend and stay again!

A great place to stay. Check in was delightful, room was warm and cozy, hot shower and comfy bed.
We ate dinner in the main restaurant, the food was outstanding. Great flavours and presentation.
Whisky, scrabble and a roaring fire in the bar afterwards.
Breakfast was good and a quick visit to the hens before departing.

A great hotel in really nice countryside surroundings yet only a 5 minute drive from St Andrews. The room was very comfortable and well heated which is important for a December stay.

Lovely property in country house style within 5 mins drive of St Andrews. Well appointed and comfortable room, great bar with very friendly staff which also carried through to a fab breakfast. Would have been nice with further facilities but an inviting 10 acre garden makes for a lovely walk

Overall an enjoyable stay but badly let down in two areas. We waited 15 minutes to be served in the bar, yes there was a small wedding party but this should not be to the detriment of other guests. Had we even received a comment of " sorry for your wait" this would have gone ablong way but there was nothing.
The breakfast was im afaaid to say not up to the required standard. It was stone cold. The only thing on the plate warm was the frued egg.
I feel this was partially down to only having one girl serving 10 tables, dhe was very very pleasant but cannot keep on top if a servuce like that on her own. Sorry to say this really marred our enjoyment.

Stayed in a gorgeous Shepards Hut which boasts fantastic facilities in an idyllic location. It is located in a very peaceful area of the lovely hotel garden.
The staff were very friendly, courteous and professional and the service provided was excellent, particularly by the head waitress / supervisor.

Loved our first stay at Rufflets. Room was spacious and beautiful, bathroom was huge! Stunning gardens and an excellent breakfast. Will definitely be back!
