My daughter and I were there for one night and enjoyed our stay. We loved that the checkout was at 11am and were able to keep our luggage for storage for 3 pounds per bag. The staff was nice and the bed was comfortable.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked Safe Stay, but I am glad I did. Staff was friendly and the location was great for us. There are lots of shops (not just the high priced ones) and dining options around. It was fun walking down pedestrian street area.
I would stay at Safe Stay in Glasgow again.

(First the check in time was 3pm, so i had to wait 6 hours before I was able to get into my room.) This property is good for 2-4 nights. When i arrived they had staff cleaning and in fairness the cleaner was doing good job. The place is not far from Queen Station but it's surrounded by roads that go up and down hills lol. You also have to pay £6 for a towel to dry yourself if towels are needed, but the bed was cosy enough to sleep in. Each bed has curtain which you can pull to provide more privacy. In general not a bad place but it be far between if check in time was before 3pm. Supermarkets close by and you can return to your room anytime through the night if you out at night. 😊

Beds are comfortable, rooms are on the small side. The bathroom was a bit moldy. Since it’s a hostel it was pretty noisy in the hallways (mostly quiet after 10) and we did have a few people come knocking down the hall doors late at night. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

3 night stay to attend a concert at the Ovo arena. Great location for this, arena was within a 10-15 min walking distance. Great location also for the city centre and restaurants.
Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful with info about the area.
The room was basic, clean, bright and recently decorated. The bed was clean and reasonably comfy.

Firstly its advertised as a hotel, its not its a hostel. The rooms were filthy, covered in feaces, the windows didnt lock, there mould all over the bathroom, there was vomit stains on the floors, there was a huge hole in the roof, i could go on but im sure you get the drift. We ended up leaving after 2 hours as we were worried for the safety of our children, would not recommend this place to anyone, needs to be closed down.

More pillows would have been good, hand towel in bathroom would have been welcome, couldn’t get normal channels on tv, carpets ripped and worn, walls were dirty, bathroom very tired and water damaged. Wasn’t worth what we paid for one night, have stayed in much better for much cheaper in the same area with cooked breakfast. Bed was comfy and staff were very nice.

The Hotel wasn't clean. The first night an someone came into our room, although every room had a separate digital key. Staff couldn't explain how this was possible and didn't do anything to be sure it couldn't happen again. Beside the hotel there were two building sites with very loud building activities from 7am until 6pm. All in all, not an ideal accomodation.

Following the reservation of two rooms via Hotels.com, payment was not processed at the time of booking, a departure from standard practice. Subsequently, emails were received that appeared to be fraudulent, requesting payment via a provided link.
Upon contacting the hotel, payment was successfully processed. However, approximately six days prior to the scheduled arrival, notification was received that one room was unavailable due to maintenance. The alternative accommodation offered was a shared dormitory, which was less than ideal. Given the proximity to an event at the OVO Hydro and the inflated prices of alternative private rooms, the shared dormitory was accepted, despite the lack of provided amenities..

Very very basic hotel. The carpets need a either a huge clean or full replacement, doesn’t look great to see big stains when you walk in. we had a double room ensuite. It seemed clean enough. For 1 night It is fine, except the thin uncomfortable mattress and the 1 skinny pillow. If they improved that my score would be higher! Handy location but I’m not sure it should be on Expedia as a hotel. It’s really a hostel.
