Hanneman Holiday Residence

We had a fabulous stay at Hannemans. Excellent location, excellent apartment and excellent owner & staff. Huge apartment with everything we could possibly need and more that we hadn't even though of. Nothing too much trouble and even homemade pancakes dropped to us. All areas really clean and well thought out. Manfred and Santale always on hand to assist in anyway. Will definitely return to Hanneman's for our next holiday to Seychelles.

Jag blev uppgraderad och fick en stor lägenhet med två sovrum och flera badrum trots att jag reste solo. Frukosten är riktigt bra med gott kaffe, generöst med färsk frukt och avokado, toast, pålägg, ägg och pannkakor. AC var bra och effektiv men det fanns endast AC i sovrummen på ovanvåningen- ingen på nedanvåningen. Sängen var mycket skön - mer åt det mjuka hållet. Duschen hade bra tryck och gott om varmt vatten. Det är väldigt tyst och jag sov gott. Stranden ligger knappt 10 min bort och det finns busshållplats i närheten. Trevlig och bra service. Det enda som kunde varit lite bättre är poolen - vattnet var lite grumsigt.

Manfred, the owner, is very serviceminded and makes sure that you are taken care of. Good location - short distance to the beach. Beautiful pool and garden. We would love to go back!

The staff were fantastically friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. They kindly provided a larger room than I had booked, and also complementary fruit and pancakes (plus a welcome bottle of wine, as a repeat visitor). They also kindly gave me a lift to a supermarket on my first day. An easy 5 min walk from Beau Vallon beach, and local shops. It was good to stay with a property certified under the Sustainable Seychelles program, and hear all about their efforts to be 'green'.

We've been back now for a couple of months, and, although very busy, I've had it in mind that I should give this hotel a (very positive) review! We stayed here twice during our trip to the Seychelles , for a few days each side of our cruise, and it was a great choice! A small 'boutique' environment and a haven of peace! The accommodation was very nice and also spacious with fridge, cooking and laundry facilities. The pool was nice, quiet, clean and pleasant and, again, very tranquil and relaxing. Breakfast was great, very flexible with timings and staff pleasant and helpful. A nice beach was only a short walk away, as were a few restaurants (a good Indian restaurant, moderately priced for the Seychelles was a favourite), and also a very useful mini-market for beers, snacks & food provisions when 'eating in'. Manfred, the manager, was around every day and happy to make recommendations and give useful advice (he spoke perfect English!), also just generally chat about life in the Seychelles! We would definitely stay there again if we came back to the Seychelles.

Great location - 5 minutes to beach and 5 minutes to shops.

Some staff were very friendly. The 2 bedrooms penthouse was huge and nicely decorated. Nice swiming pool. But place not too adapted for people having walking difficulties. Not enough light on the road to the seaside at night

ATTENTION les avis sur Google ne reflètent pas du tout la réalité. Nous n'avions jamais vu un logement aussi sale (voir photos) , humide, sombre et mal odorant. Les draps aussi étaient dégoûtants, j'ai dû aller demander des draps propres pour refaire le lit moi-même ! J'ai payé 180€ la nuit pour ce logement, c'est inadmissible ! Seul point positif le propriétaire est gentil, mais ça ne suffit pas. Notre taxi nous a dit que plusieurs clients avaient fait le même constat.

The only thing good about the property is that it’s spacious! The bad part is the endless amounts of ants in the restroom and I’m not sure if it was a roach or just some bug…the AC worked but blew out a weird smell the entire time we ran it…guy was nice upon check in but kinda sketchy and there were SO MANY CATS walking around!

The one thing that trumps anything else about the Hanneman is the staff. Chantelle and Manfred made our stay awesome! Thank you so much. They were super friendly and helpful, with little touches like giving us pancakes or bananas after diving or letting us stay by the pool as we had a late flight. Our room was fairly basic, but they do have some amazing suites also. Walking distance to the beach is a major bonus!

Wonderful Large multi-room residence with beautiful views and an awesome location. The Hosts were exceptional and the amenities were terrific. I would definitely stay here again!

The apartment, pool, service and general ambiance were all very good, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism I would have of our particular apartment was that it was quite dark as it only had a window at one end, exacerbated by the dark finish kitchen cupboard doors and relatively low wattage lighting. I believe other apartments also had a side window which would have made them brighter. However this did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

Everything was in excellent condition. The apartments were well furnished and equipped and very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and fun.

Vi hade en stor lägenhet i två våningar och med två separata sovrum. Det var väldigt mycket för pengarna... tvätt och diskmaskin. Manfred bor själv i suterängvåningen och gör allt för att ta hand om gästerna. 5 minuter till beachen.

I loved everything about it. Great location, accommodating staff, delicious breakfast and excellent service. I will stay there again. There is good air conditioning in the upstairs area, but the only thing I would recommend is for there to be another a/c unit for the downstairs area, though the weather in Maha is near perfect, it can get a bit warm in the lower living area, but don't let this sway you away. Great value for the price. They even got me a rental car and had it delivered to my front door. All I had to do was ask. Wonderful stay -- August 2018

Basic apartment within walking distance from the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Air conditioner in the living room would be great for comfort.

Staff is very friendly and helpful but the place needs maintenance (mold in bathrooms), new pillows, and a thorough cleaning. Seconnd bathroom with humidity and disgusting smell.

Beautiful, immaculate town home apt. The apt. was perfect. Beautifuly furnished with high end appliances. Great location, less than 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurant. Secured free parking and wifi. Very helpful host.
