There were protests near the hotel but very orderly and weren't an issue for us as we worked during the day and that was when the protests were allowed

Great room, great staff, great price, next to National Assembly. Staying for 2 weeks and really happy to have laundry in the unit. Honestly almost stayed at the Shilla and glad I didn’t. Spent way less in a quality hotel.

Hotel was great and the room was very nice. Tons of dining options that are all nearby. There’s a subway station basically across the street. Cabs as always around too if you prefer that mode of transport. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
The only issue with the property is the carpets in the area leading to the rooms on my floor should probably be replaced. It’s coming up in areas. Minor detail.

Check in was a hassle. Very strict with 3pm check in, we arrived 2.20pm and said we are not allowed to check in yet even if room is ready. I asked for reconsideration, front desk agreed to 2.30pm and asked me to wait. So i literally stood in front of the check-in counter for 10 mins just to wait for 2.30pm to hit, then they allowed us to be check in.
That is poor customer service for me, it is unnecessary to be that strict if you're in the hospitality business.
Hotel is clean and new.
It has a speakeasy bar on the ground floor.
Location is good - infront of train station.

Amazing place to stay. Great location. Across the street from public transit. Many restaurants near the hotel. Very comfortable bed. Everything was perfect except i arrived late and asked if there was something nearby where i could get something. They said everything was closed. There are two 24 hour markets around the corner. I recommend this hotel

The metro station is in front of the hotel.
Spacious and well-designed room.
The toilet and shower room are separated.
The only and biggest problem was bad soundproofing. We could hear the noise of the shower room's door sliding from the next room and heavy footsteps from upstairs.
The noise from upstairs woke me up at midnight for four consecutive nights since I checked in, so I asked a front desk lady to remind the guest upstairs. However, she was unwilling to do so. She wanted me to call the front desk immediately whenever the noise came. The problem was that it always happened at midnight when I was sleeping. Therefore, I was woken up for the entire stay - 6 nights.

I stayed for 2 week at this property and it was great! The service was very nice and they were very helpful when it came to any questions I had about the area or transportations. The place was always clean and very close to multiple forms of transportations. My only bone to pick was that I couldn't control the air conditioning. I was HOT at night but opening the window fixed that issue so no ruined trip there. Other than that very nice hotel

Staff are friendly, fast/efficient and helpful. Subway station is right outside the front door for line 9. No wash cloths for American tourist so bring your own; they do provide bath sponges. The heat and air are controlled by the hotel so the room was warm but we requested a fan and the windows open so that helped. Water bottles are provided daily for free and cleaning staff were great! We enjoyed our trip and would stay again!
