Hostal Ambos Mundos

O quarto é perfeito, ótima localização gastronomica, só tivemos uma pequena dificuldade de comunicação, mas no final deu tudo certo.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé dans le quartier gothique, près des Remblas et à 5min à pied du metro. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre côté cour, donc c'était très tranquille la nuit. Le personnel est très disponible et à l'écoute. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable, propre et moderne. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le coin café disponible 24/24h, qui permet de prendre un petit dejeuner ou goûter gratuitement. En plus le samedi matin nous avons droit à d'excellentes viennoiseries ! Il est aussi possible de laisser ses valises en sécurité si on arrive avant, ou si on part de la ville en fin de journée comme nous. C'est aussi gratuit. Bref, un séjour très agréable dans un hôtel très accueillant et à proximité de tout, que demander de plus !

Great Boutique Hotel right in the heart of the Square. It has a balcony to sit out and enjoy the people watching. No shortage of restaurants around the Square plus La Rambla was just outside. Very walkable to lots of sights in the area. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Great location but quite noisy at night

The hotel is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator so it is very hard to carry the luggage. The hotel is located in the plaza which is not safe. Especially early mornings and late nights are not safety. Be careful!!!!!

Perfekt hotel

This is a very centrally located place, with a very cute view from the balcony. They had luggage storage to start and end your day at any time. It is a very minimal room with basic amenities. The front desk hours are a bit limited, and the square during the day is a normal level of noise. At night, the noises echo and that is when clean up, deliveries, and garbage pickups happen in the square. They provide ear plugs because they know it will be noisy.

In the heart of Placa Reial off the Ramblas. Great location to get to other sites and lots of food options. The square is lively at night but noise pretty well muffled in rooms. Ear buds are provided too. Slept fine. Clean and lovely rooms. Staff welcoming and helpful. Wonderful stay.

The hotel has a great location...overlooking the plaza and right in the middle of the old town. There are a few problems...1) If you have a room with balcony that overlooks the plaza, be prepared for crowd noise ALL night long...you might want to wear ear plugs to sleep. 2). There is no elevator and the hotel is on the fourth floor...fortunately our taxi cab driver went out of his way and carried our two 50 pound bags up the four fights.

We enjoyed our stay, staff helpful and Hostel close to everything. Rooms are small but clean

Hostal Ambos Mundos is in a great location, with shopping and restaurants close by. It was clean and well furnished. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our only complaint is that we were unaware that it is on the third floor and there is no elevator. Diah was an awesome, helping us getting our luggage up and down the stairs though.

Good location if you want to be near gothic quarter. The room was really hot and the window had very little ventilation, you could hear everyone flushing the toilets. No elevator. But they did provide complimentary alcohol and drinks which was a cool perk.

You have to wait until the customer service person arrives at 8:30 to store your luggage until the room is ready. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Barcelona with Hostal Ambos Mundos! The staff was incredible accommodating and provided fantastic communication. It was in a prime location being close to shops, restaurants and nightlife. Our balcony overlooked a lively plaza, which could tend to be quite loud at night (that’s to be expected travelling during spring break) but during the day it was teeming with life, even a mini opera concert. You aren’t supplied with a physical key to your room but are given a code and an app that opens the door to your room, front door to the hotel and the street level door. As nice as it was to not worry about misplacing a hotel key, the thought of your phone dying while out and about and being locked out of the hotel during closed reception hours was an added stress. It is good to note that the hotel is on the second floor so pack light as you’ll have to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs. However, we had such an incredible time at Hostal Ambos Mundos, also thanks to all the free beer, muffins and coffee in the common space. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Barcelona to stay in this beautiful hotel!
