We came to San Sebastián from Japan for our honeymoon. During our three-day stay, we felt completely at ease thanks to the wonderful hotel staff. The front desk had multilingual staff fluent in five languages, so we had no worries about communication. There were many famous restaurants in the area that stayed open late, ensuring that we were never bored.

The room was very clean, and the interior design was stylish and relaxing. The staff’s hospitality was also excellent. While the price wasn’t cheap, it was well worth it. I was extremely satisfied.

In downtown San Sebastián this was an amazing place to stay during my visit. Just a couple of minutes from the beach and surrounded by delicious cafes and restaurants - highly recommend. The room was a large size and comfortable.

Here are the two reasons I did not give this property a 5 star rating even though I loved my stay here.
1. Let’s talk about the restroom. I didn’t realize that there is no door in the entryway to the restroom. Let me explain. You enter, and right in front of you the single sink. Fine no problem. and as you standing in front of the sink, to your right you will find the shower. Now come back and start at the sink, to your left is the too and a euro toilet with a door. Now keep in mind when you entered this wet area from the entryway there was no door. So you could be lying down in bed and you can hear someone getting up to go to the restroom or taking a shower because there is no door separating the wet area from the rest of the room.
2. The lighting in the room was a bit too dim. This was quite a challenge when applying makeup.

We stayed in Room Mate Gorka in San Sebastian for two nights and had a great time. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a large bed and a cosy sofa. The bathroom was modern, featuring a rain shower, though it’s worth noting that the room we stayed in didn’t have a full door to the bathroom, and the toilet door was more like a saloon door. If privacy is a priority, this might be something to consider.
The hotel’s location was fantastic - just a 5-minute walk to the Old Town, the beach, and the shops. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, and every receptionist we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We chose not to opt for breakfast, as there were so many incredible foodie spots right outside the hotel.
We had a car with us during our stay. While the hotel doesn’t have on-site parking, they have an agreement with a secure car park about a 10-minute walk away, offering discounted rates that you can conveniently pay at check-out.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

La localización del hotel es excelente. Si no tienes problemas de movilidad, puedes ir a pie a la estación del tren, del autobús, a la playa La Concha y lo mejor de todo es que está a sólo unos cuantos minutos de los bares para comer los mejores Pintxos de tu vida. Todo muy limpio y actualizado. Desde que entras a los pasillos para llegar a la habitacio, huele muy agradable. Estuvimos cuatro días y nos gustó mucho. Cuando regresemos a Donosti, definitivamente nos hospedaremos aquí.

The hotel is very well located in San Sebastián. Walkable distance from the bus station, the old town and the sights. It is clean, the staff polite and the room comfortable.
Disappointingly, the hotel room was lacking in basic amenities: slippers, body cotton buds, tissues. On asking we were provided with slippers, but it seems that the remainder of the items are not readily provided by this hotel.
