Als ich beim Suchen einer All-Inclusiv Unterkunft zufällig auf Malu Banna gestossen bin, hat es mich gleich angesprochen und habe mich, basierend auf die Bewertungen, kurzfristig den Entschluss gefasst meinen Urlaub im Malu Banna zu buchen und habe die Entscheidung nie bereut. Wir hatten ein sauberes Zimmer an besonderer Lage, direkt am Fluss, zentral gelegen, ein Wassersport-Center und ein leckeres Restaurant. Was aber am meisten begeistert hat, waren die lieben, zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Menschen die wir um uns hatten, die sehr darum bemüht waren, dass wir uns wohl fühlen. Ich kann Malu Banna jedem der nicht zwingend auf einen fehlerlosen 5-Sterne Service angewiesen ist, wärmstens empfehlen.

I really don´t know where to begin when it comes to describe how much we liked it at Malu Banna! The staff made everything they could to make us feel more than welcome, including arranging trips, arranging speciial foods and treating us with a lovely farewell dinner our last night. The location is great with closeness to both the shopping and the river, and since they take you by boat the short way to the beach its no problem to get there (no more than 10 minutes walk anyway). The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, and the view towards the river and all the action going on with the watersports is fantastic entertainment. But what we apreciated most of all was the warmth and the genuine feeling around the staff and the hotel. See you next year!

Fantastic hotel. Lovely location on the river. Short walk to beach or they will take you by boat. Walking distance to lots of lovely restaurants or malu banna have their own.Room very clean bed really comfortable.lovely breakfast .could not fault anything.

The room was clean. However, the blankets and tray/cups etc. in the room weren't. The tray holding the cups, plates and spoons/forks in the room was full of dust and the blanket had a stain from previous use. Also, the food service staff was untrained and slow. That was quite disappointing, given the fact that the food prices were quite high. Also, the floor in the room was slippery and a hazard for sure. Hope they work on making it slip-proof. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They were helpful in arranging complementary pickup from a previous hotel we stayed at and paid airport drop for us. The location of the hotel is good, but I think they can do better with the services at Malu Banna.

this hotel is overall good. location close to a bridge, a bit noisy at night. soundproof of the room is ok, but if you want to open a balcony it may be a problem with noise from the bridge and sports center. rooms big, much space, great bathroom size, good cold/hot water pressuer, nice balcony. boat ride accross the rives for free to get to the beach, pickup on the way back too for free. great bentota beach, not too many tourists.

There is nothing I could fault about this hotel. We were given a complimentary room upgrade and were warmly welcomed by Chathura, Managing Director, and the hotel staff. Our room was spacious, beautiful and offered a stunning view from the balcony. Everything that we ordered from their menu was superb and we ended up having dinner there every night. We had a magnificent time at Malu Banna and would high recommend this place for your stay in Bentota.

Not on the beach, but the staff, the room and the very quick speedboat (less than 2 minutes) to the beach made up for it! Opened in January 2017. The bed was so comfortable. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and a balcony. Great venue for water sport lovers.

(small) issues were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Staff were incredibly helpful. Food was fantastic. Good value for money. I would definitely stay there again if I was ever in the area. The hotel is just at the lagoon and the views are perfect. We were taken by a small boat to the beach so it was less than five minutes to reach it. The fresh para fish we had for dinner was truly excellent, compliments to the cook. And they sang “happy birthday “ and gave a complimentary cake for my birthday :)

Vi bodde på Malu Banna i slutet av vår vistelse i Sri Lanka och blev glatt överraskade. Rummen var nybyggda, stora och fräscha med härlig balkong mot vattnet. Super trevlig personal som var väldigt hjälpliga och trevliga. Malu Banna har väldigt god mat, vi åt den bästa curryn och helgrillad fisk där. Frukosten var ok, med toast, frukt och ägg. Hotellet erbjuder förutom väldigt god mat mycket vattenaktiviteter, vi var och surfade och paddlade kannot, säger man till lite innan så styr de upp det mesta. Hotellets lägga var väldigt bra, nära stan och stranden. Personalen skjutsar med båt till stranden.

Rummen var helt fantastiska, nya och fräscha samt även frukosten var riktigt bra. Resturangen erbjöd också riktigt bra mat. Ägaren var väldigt social och hjälpte till med mycket tips om vad man kunde göra.

Rummen var helt fantastiska, nya och fräscha samt även frukosten var riktigt bra. Resturangen erbjöd också riktigt bra mat. Ägaren var väldigt social och hjälpte till med mycket tips om vad man kunde göra.
