The Summit Kandy

It’s a hidden Gem in Kandy. Wow what an amazing and most inspiring and magical boutiques hotel. We had a Beautiful modern room with a fantastic view of the city . Wish we had another day to spend in this hotel . The staff and manager went out of their way to serve us and beautifully decorated and very homely 👍. Definitely 💯 percent will recommend this magical hotel to my friends and family when they visit Kandy

Outstanding views and top notch service. We used it as a rest stop and didn’t do any of the offered excursions but it was a great place to hang out and the food was excellent. It’s high on the hill (hence the views) so might be a bit of a challenge for some vehicles to get to

We stayed one night at The Summit in Kandy during our trip to Sri Lanka. The places is maybe even more beautiful than the pictures, the rooms have incredible views over the city, plus they are modern and super clean (and A/C works well and it is quiet). Yes, the place is not in the center of Kandy, but you can very easily get a tuk tuk that will take to the center and back. Breakfast is very nice, especially the fruits and the Sri Lankan dishes (if you are up for a salty meal in the morning). But the true value added of this place is the staff. I need to call out especially Kogul. We travel a lot and have rarely met someone that would go above and beyond to try to help us. We had a last minute change of plans and needed to go back to the airport and, even if we had already checked out, Kogul found us a great driver and kept in contact throughout the journey back. So fully recommended the stay here and thanks Kogul for your help!!
