Petra Sella Hotel

Buffet -dîner médiocre, petit déjeuner mauvais. Tout était rassis. Pas de wifi.

Warm welcome, thanks to Chahdi and all the team. Clean and spacious rooms. Very good breakfast

I was disappointed with the quality of the room given the price. The room was small. The breakfast was tasteless. The staff was friendly.

Staff were excellent and facilities were nice, but right off the main road with a significant amount of traffic noise all night. Room was located in a separate building across the main road. Street parking only.

We were looking for an affordable stay near Petra and this one did the job. Bed was comfortable and the front desk people were extremely helpful in organizing activities. My only complaint is that the shower and bathroom area were smaller than expected. A good option for your stay in Petra.

Yövyimme kaksi yötä Petra Sellassa vieraillessamme Petrassa / Wadi Musassa. Hotelli on keskitason varustuksiltaan: kaikki on vähän kulunutta, mutta toimii. Plussaa ehdottomasti neljännen kerroksen huoneesta, näkymä avautuu alas laaksoon kohti Petraa. Lisäksi palvelu oli ystävällistä ja vilpitöntä. Esimerkiksi ravintolan hotelli avasi meille etuajassa, kun nälkäiset matkalaiset tarvitsivat ruokaa heti 😃 Hotellilla on joka ilta buffet, joka on hinta-laatusuhteiltaan hyvä. Lisäksi aamupalabuffet on hyvä. Hotellilta on noin 30 min kävelymatka Petran turistikohteeseen. Taksin hotelli järjestää nopeasti ja se on edullinen. Miinusta heikosti toimivasta suihkusta sekä melkoisen kovasta liikenteenmelusta yöllä. Kokonaisuudessaan kuitenkin tykkäsimme ja uudelleenkin voisimme mennä, jos matka Petraan / Wadi Musaan taas vie.

This is not a 4 star hotel at all . It’s more of a 2 or 3 star max . The pictures shown on the site does not reflect the reality of the place . You can hear everything that is going on on the room next door , the TV is side ways from the bad. The shower caulking and tile is all black with mold

We stayed at this property for our recent holiday, the staff is poorly behaved and wouldn't leave any opportunity to rip you off your money. limited and poor quality breakfast and rooms are tiny as well. Plug points do not work , notea or cooffee in rooms, they provide 2 little cups of water as opposed to standard 500 ml water bottles in other hotels. and above that staff is unfriendly too which is disappointing given they are in hospitality industry, will not recommend.

the hot water has a schedule after 10pm no longer there and at 4:30am they turn it on again, the strangest thing I have seen in a hotel

Personale disponibile, stanza forse un po' piccola per 3 persone, buon buffet tipico a colazione. A 5 minuti di auto dal visitor center

The Hotel is in old condition, bathroom toilets can't fit a person in it due to its lack of space and design, old furniture, Air conditioning is in a wall unit, overall should be considered a motel 3 stars, not 4, definitely a rip off for the price I paid

Petra Sella is a great place to stay when visiting Petra. The staff were friendly and I had a great view of the city. Only downside is that WiFi didn’t work in the room.

Pretty good hotel, nice views from the room, friendly staff, about 10 minutes drive to Petra visitor centre. Good restaurant on the other side of the road. For Petra this is pretty good value for money.

We feel like this is more like a 2 stars or max 3 stars hotel instead of 4. It is an old style building with few pieces of new furnitures. We stayed there for two nights. The staffs were very nice and friendly. We even got our room upgraded as we’re on our honeymoon. The problem with the top floor panoramic room is that the windows can’t be closed completely. It was very windy and we could hear all the noise from outside. It also took hours for the heater to really warm up the room. Overall the room gave us an impression that it’s not very clean due to the stains on the bed linens and the condition of the bathroom. The breakfast was so and so, far from what you see in their photos. Dinner buffet was not good as the food was not fresh, a la carte was not too bad.

Qd je réserve une chambre double de 40m2 et que je me retrouve dans une chambre twin de 20m2, je pense qu’il y a un sérieux problème. Il est trop facile pour Hotels.com de préciser dans le message de confirmation et alors que le paiement est verrouillé que la chambre demandée sera attribuée sous réserve de disponibilité. Si je n’obtiens pas la chambre désirée, le minimum c’est que je puisse changer d’hôtel sans frais.

Customer service was ve rye y rude! Reserved a double bed and i was giving one king bed for 3 . Next day my husband was asked i a sick way where did he sleep because he was two female companions, wife and daughter 😡 Towels were disgusting and only extremely hot water from the shower. Never again

A nice clean hotel with a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home.

After a long day of hiking I arranged a massage at the hotels spa facility (they called it a Turkish Bath) for my wife through the hotel manager. This is a recount from wife of what happened: We ordered a Turkish bath and the hotel staff asked if it was ok if it was a man. We didn't realize exactly what happens in a Turkish bath so I "said not a problem", as I have had lots of male masseuses in the USA and it was always very appropriate. However for this Turkish bath you go across the street and you are all alone with one man. During my bath I tried to keep putting the wet sheet to cover my private parts but I kept ending up completely naked. My breasts were rubbed and nipples pinched. My legs were spread and my inner thighs rubbed.The man asked if it was ok and I said "yes, but I am very uncomfortable and it is strange" to him. He told me "just relax and it is only work" for him. I also was positioned facing the wall standing up naked and massaged from behind. At the time I thought it was normal for an Arab turkish bath and even tipped the guy, but later I felt very uncomfortable and violated. After the next few days I started getting more upset and I am mad at myself for not stopping him because it was very inappropriate and sexual.
