We were a group traveling from different countries to attend a wedding in Amman and chose the Ritz-Carlton expecting a seamless five-star experience — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning, which didn’t work properly in any of our rooms, including the bride’s suite. Despite the staff trying to make our stay pleasant, there were too many issues to overlook. The bride’s room lost electricity while she was getting ready for her second look, which was extremely stressful. On top of that, the hotel decided to check the couple out of their suite during the actual wedding, which was unacceptable.
Key cards frequently stopped working, and we had to go to the reception multiple times to reactivate them. And to top it off, two Heineken bottles were left in the hallway for two days — even after I reported them, they were still there when I checked out.
This is not what anyone expects from a Ritz-Carlton. Attention to detail matters, especially for a luxury hotel brand. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns seriously to maintain the reputation the name carries.

Had a two night stay here as part of a bigger trip around Jordan. Hotel is very beautiful, finished to a high standard and frequented by the rich and famous of Amman. The pool area was great but there were preparations for a large event so closed earlier. The room was lovely but day one only hot water and day two only freezing cold! The maintenance fixed the issue but there was nothing forthcoming by way of apology or compensation which seemed inconsistent with a 5* prestigious hotel. After commenting on this the manager offered 20JOD…
We subsequently stayed at the Fairmont opposite on the last night and can highly recommend this for stunning rooms, incredible personal service and the most out of this world Asian restaurant.

Dining staff was rude raciest and very unprofessional the supervisor was not helpful at all I told her of what happened and she was like it’s fine I told I’m put a bad review and she was it’s okay no customer service at all very bad with customers, it’s a horrible experience to deal with employees that can’t take care of a customer I don’t think its worth the money.

This is not what anyone expects from a Ritz-Carlton. Attention to detail matters, especially for a luxury hotel brand. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns seriously to maintain the reputation the name carries.
