Atlantis Family Waterpark Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The place is outdated & dirty. Pool area was dirty & paint was chipped on the water slides. It’s a maze to get to your room if you go through any door. Wouldn’t stay here again.. only good thing is that’s it’s by a lot of restaurants.

Patio door barely would slide, garbage in the room, hot tub wasn’t even hot

Pros: Friendly staff, affordable, clean rooms, good location. Cons: Pools were dirty/need skimmed, no breakfast, some guests took it upon themselves to smoke pot - making areas of the hotel stink.

The pools were awful unsafe old and broken down. No waterfalls runny. Very dirty flys in room. Just an awful place to stay!!!

The room was very muggy the beds felt wet and it had a terrible smell to the room. Behind the dresser and night stand was rappers and nasty stuff. Overall not cleanly. People running in the halls screaming at 1 am.

This place okay for the money. They definitely need repairs to the kids indoor water slid section. If they would fix that it would be great for small kids. The staff was nice but I think they only had 3 workers total. Its in a good location. Close to everything. Carpets were gross but most place who have waterslides are. We had to keep a garbage can in front of the dresser to keep the drawers closed but that could easily be fixed with some shims. Only 2 out of the 4 ice machines work. The hot tubs were not hot and only 1 actually had working jets. I kink of fell like the owner really don't care about the place.

It was ok…. Def needs a make over. The pool was somewhat dirty. Would be a budget friendly place with small children. I have teenagers and won’t be back.

There outside security door didn't lock. There were bugs in the room and in the pool

Place needs a facelift! Cool that they have 3 pools but they need some major TLC as well. Overall it was okay I guess, but definitely not for the price

This was the worst hotel I have every stayed at, don't waste your money. Dirty rooms and horrible staff. Will never go back.

Bedding is paper thin, had hair and particles all over. Our son wouldnt even sleep in a bed. Drawers on the dresser didnt stay shut. Patio barely opened and closed...screen door was completely ripped all around edges so was of no use. We got 3 towels for our family of 5 when we checked in...requested more our 2nd day and coffee and never got it. Not clean at all. Needs updating badly.

We stayed two nights and had a pair of 4 thousand dollar glasses stolen out the door in a matter of minutes from putting kids in the car and returning to the room. The manager didn’t care, said she’d be there “eventually” to review the cameras. When police came she gave them the run around too. Finally she appeared and conveniently the hallway cameras do not work. The room was dirty, we had one of the suites with jacuzzi and it was filthy, the patio door didn’t lock and was instead blocked with a bar. The pool was dirty with bugs. I was charged two seperate resort fees for the room even though it was one stay two nights she said they couldn’t combine it and had to charge two resort fees and two deposits. It was a horrible experience and we’d never stay there again. On top of gave a bad taste in the mouth for future trips with the kids because of the theft and lack of helping to do anything.

Staff was great for the most part and we were able to check in at noon! However, one of our queen beds felt like the box spring was broken, as when we went to go to lay on it, it was completely sunken in and unusable. We brought it to the staff’s attention but they said they didn’t have another room to switch us to, although their sign outside said they had vacancies. The 4th floor pool was amazing for our 3 year old and was nice and warm. It was outdated but still very enjoyable and we had a blast. The game room was fun for him too. The outdoor pool was ice cold and the waterfall features were not on for the duration of our stay. A lot of rough housing in the outdoor pool as well as the pool next to the lobby. Location was great, although it is next to Bigfoot zipline which has stadium-type lighting on all night which was directly facing our balcony, so that was bothersome. The balcony door was almost unusable. The balcony was carpeted, which was stained and very sticky. The bathroom had black spots of mold on the ceiling above the shower. Hallways smelled of weed. The noise level coming from upstairs was so loud, and the signal on the tv kept cutting out. Overall, we still had a great time but if it weren’t for the 4th floor pool we wouldn’t have stayed.

The people at the front desk we're nice and friendly and called us every morning to see if we needed anything. However the room was not very clean and much smaller than pictures show. Ice machines always seem to have an issue and having to go to other floors to get ice. On the expensive side for no better hotel than it was.

Old not updated, feels unsafe. Way to much money for what you get !

Fix the Balcony Door in Room 309 Door Jam it was Hard to open.

The rooms were dirty they didnt even clean the room during the time of our stay. Check in time and check out time is terrible

The pools are great. The room was a nice size, however the bed was too soft and caused lower back pain. This was our second stay. It is nicely located and reasonably priced. Great place for family vacation for a family with small children
