Newley renovated room was lovely . Valet Parking convenient, but has risen significantly in price and is over priced.

For the price they could at lease offer a continental breakfast.

The staff was great at check in and check out. The room was updated and clean/comfortable. Would stay here again.

Great location. There was some renovation going on and the hotel was a bit noisy.

The elevator was in the process of being fixed/renovated and on one occasion there was a large cardboard covering the floor going up the right side of the elevator. The cardboard board was not affixed to the floor or walll. The amenities were lacking, no concierge service no busboys. I am 77 years old and I had to carry two heavy weekend sets myself. I will not recommend the hotel,to,anyone.

We love this hotel. It is perfectly located very near our daughter's apartment, and we have stayed here many times. We have never traveled to NYC in April, however, and discovered that during this time, only heat is available in the room. Even though there is a temperature selection, it is meaningless when the heat is on. Therefore, it's tough to get comfortable at night for sleeping, when we prefer it to be quite cool. It also means that if you don't want heat, you can't have the fan on constant to drown out street and hallway noise. When I inquired at the desk, they said the only way to not get heat was to turn the system off, fans included. Also, I am sure someone thought it was a good idea to have the bathroom light come on by motion detection, but it's not good in the middle of the night to have the lights come blaring on. They need to change this. Otherwise, it's a lovely hotel, rooms are clean and comfortable and they offer flavored water and coffee in the lobby 24/7. They are also in the process of upgrading and our floor was quite nice with new carpet and wallpaper.

Small lobby - renovation made only one working lift with very long wait times. Mattresses were piled in front of lobby entrance which made difficult to pull car to load unload mobility challenged person. Hallway carpet smell no good

Under construction so there was only 1 elevator working, the window in our room didnt completely shut and latch so there was a lot of traffic noise. We will stay here again as we love the location and hopefully construction will be brief.

We stay here when we visit my son on the upper east side. It is a convenient location.

My husband and I stayed here while having some renovations done on our NYC apartment. It's one of the few hotels on the UES that's part of a hotel chain, and it's more reasonably priced than some others located closer to midtown. We stayed in a suite, which had enough room for 2 people to have a comfortable stay for 10 days. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. As was the exterior and lobby of the hotel. There were only two things that were a little disappointing: 1) the fridge didn't work properly, or wasn't set properly, so all our food got frozen (we were told by reception that a lot of the fridges have this problem). But to their credit, the hotel very promptly gave us another fridge and 2) in the kitchenette, there are not plates, bowls or cutlery. Just 2 drinking glasses. You can however, get paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins, etc from reception. All in all, we would stay there again and recommend the hotel to others as there are just so few options for 1-bedroom stays now that Airbnb & VRBO got kicked out of NYC.

It was a pleasurable stay. Staff was friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and relaxing.

We came to the UES to visit our daughters. The hotel was in an excellent location - close to parks, the river, coffee shops, etc. Service was great. The staff were all warm, friendly and helpful. There’s free wine and popcorn in the afternoon and coffee in the morning. Our room was clean and a nice size. The only downside is that it’s an older hotel and in need of renovation - although I believe that’s being worked on. Overall, a very pleasant stay!
