Days Inn by Wyndham Dubuque

Couldn’t get out of here fast enough. Dirty, outdated. Timer on bathroom lights. I felt unsafe. Original room wasn’t cleaned, we got a new room but front desk was not friendly Housekeeping staff was very apologetic

The rooms are clean but they smell like cigarettes, I was offered a new room but it had the same smell. Very unpleasant.

Beautiful area. Entry way had a bad smell onto the second floor. Comfortable otherwise.

Nice hotel

Not a great location. Poor service. Would not work with customer. Would not recommend hotel. Tried to cancel one night but hotel would not let me since 3 rd party booking.

No elevator. Poor breakfast. Not handicapp acceptable. Check in people not friendly. Check out were. My sister had to have handicapped room for daughter wasn't. Water on floor in bathroom. Leaked. Water on carpet. Room moister. Everything felt damp. We thought we had qween beds and they were double. Had variety of tv station Small tv. Rain everyday was outdoor pool. Did not get to try pool.would not stay there again. Hard to tranfer luggage without elevator

There were some issues with reservations but that was on Expedia’s end. Overall it was pretty clean and the AC stayed cold and the shower was HOTTT! The vending machines were pretty pricey and the ice machine was empty both times I tried to get ice, but otherwise no real complaints!

The stay was fine. It was a quick getaway for the kids to use the pool. Rooms were out dated and had a musty smell, but were clean and staff was nice.

The 1st room we were in smelled horrible. We were locked in our room because the door handle malfunctioned. We were moved to another room and it smelled a little better. However, it was musty and moldy. The office chair had mold growing on it and there was mold growing around the base of the fridge on the carpet. (fuzzy mold) The carpet appeared dirty. I didn't feel comfortable taking my shoes off. The phone didn't work and the extension cord that was hooked up to the TV didn't work. There was another extension cord in the room that we moved to use for the TV. If I were the one paying I would have left ASAP! I will not return to this dive!

Felt like private parking with a unique view of a cliff.

Checked in and was required at the front desk to put a $50 hold on my card in case of incidentals. After some research this seems to be common now, though I have never encountered this. Whether common or not, this should have been indicated to me before the moment I checked into the hotel. When we got to the room we noticed a blood stain and a urine stain on the comforter. We waited to say something because we had some things to do and thought we would just swing through when we got done to grab one ourselves. When we got back to the hotel we decided to go swimming. We brought our room towels as we were not sure if there would be towels at the pool. As we walked by the front desk they produced two pool towels and indicated that we needed to use those for the pool as they did not have any extra room towels. We complied and on our way back I asked about the comforter. I was asked in a condescending manner why I didn’t report the bloody comforter as soon as we checked in and indicated that we wanted to wait until we did all of our scheduled activities that night because we didn’t want anybody in our room. I was then given an exasperated reply that she would have to go all they way down to the housekeeping closet and see if they had any. I indicated that we would just deal with it, so my wife slept with the half of the comforter that didn’t have stains on it and I slept without a blanket. The facilities are poorly maintained. The clocks weren’t even set in the room.

The rooms have mold and they are old and dirty.

Everything was fine. Building/property was a bit old and dated.

We found several cockroaches crawling in our room. The room instantly smelled like smoke as soon as we stepped in. The bathroom was dirty, and tv did not work. One of the beds was wobbly and squeaky. Wish listing would’ve described that breakfast was only cereal and bread. Staff however was very friendly and quickly checked us in and out.
