I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. While the room itself was clean, the overall appearance of the hotel is very outdated and in need of serious upgrades. The air conditioning was extremely poor — there were only two small vents high on the wall, both facing the sun-exposed side of the building. As a result, the room stayed uncomfortably warm throughout the day. The sliding door to the balcony was rusted and nearly impossible to open. The TV in the room didn’t work at all, and to make matters worse, the room phone was also nonfunctional, making it difficult to report the issue. Around midnight, we were disturbed by children loudly running up and down the hallway, which made it even harder to rest. It’s a shame, because the hotel is in an excellent location, but the outdated facilities and lack of maintenance really take away from the experience. I hope management considers investing in much-needed improvements, especially the AC system and basic amenities.

Amazing. They check me in earlier than expected which was much needed since we were tired. We enjoy our stay here.

My experience at the DoubleTree Miami was extremely disappointing. I wasn’t informed at check-in that parking would cost an additional $18 per night. I received food vouchers that were later denied by rude staff who didn’t ask for clarification but instead acted accusatory, as if I had gotten them dishonestly. The room was musty and unclean. The hot water took over 15 minutes to warm up, then became so scalding it was hard to shower. The “upgrade” to a balcony room was pointless just bare concrete with no chairs. There was no microwave or fridge in the room, and the only microwave available was on the first floor. After my stay, I called about a deposit issue. The first woman I spoke to was kind but couldn’t assist. I was told to call back for Nicholas, but when I did, I heard staff in the background laughing and mocking me before someone finally answered and gave no help at all. It was unprofessional and frustrating. Overall, this stay was terrible. The customer service was awful, the room was uncomfortable, and the staff lacked professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone don’t be fooled by the brand name. Believe the negative reviews and book elsewhere.

DIRTY PANTIES WERE HANGING ON THE BACK OF THE BATHROOM DOOR WHEN WE CHECKED IN 😅 I have stayed here once about 5 years ago, front desk met us with fresh cookies. When I arrived this time the young lady at the desk had a very dry personality, not welcoming, no cookies (yet the have cookie trivia) I asked if she had a map so I could see how to get to my room from the front desk and she was not trying to help. The elevator is over there! I would have put one star but I enjoyed myself in the past..

Voor 'Hilton' waren de kamers toch verouderd! Schuifpui(2de verdieping) ging bijna niet open voor toegang balkon en een terrasset ontbrak daar! Een renovatie zou wel op zijn plaats zijn. Verder eten en drinken(cocktails) waren in de lobby zeer duur! Eenvoudig zwembad. Niet echt een aanrader.

It was horrible experience to stay in this hotel.i will give 0 star ifi have option i never write bad review ever but this is first time writing it. When I was stying there is not Ac working last 3 days...top of my room doesn't have any microwave, or freez. I have 2 kids with me need freez and microwave i called them multiple time but nothing response . I would not recommend any one stay in this hotel.

No A/C in the rooms or downstairs in the lobby and bar area for 4 days straight . Many guests checked out . This is suppose to be a Hilton . This is ridiculous

This property sucks....

From the minute, I got here it was nothing but horrific experience. I used my Hilton rewards app to access my room. The room did not have AC. I tried calling the front desk and nobody was answering. I spoke to the room attendant in the hall and she said AC has been down for three days so I went back down to get another room also because the room I had was not an accessible room with a handheld shower which was necessary so they moved me to a new room after I stood in line for 10 minutes as he assisted other people with their problems. There were two people at the front desk, but the one didn’t seem to know what was going on. I got my new room. The AC was still not working in that room. The bathroom was also not accessible so I complained again. They sent an engineer up and told me I had to move again. Still no air conditioner the bathroom was correct but now there was no refrigerator in the room and there was a wad of gum on the floor next to the desk. Every time I had a situation, I tried to reach out, and there was no answer. When I contacted the hotel, asking them about their airport shuttle I was told just stand there and I would get picked up. But the first time it went by. It just drove right by me. I called the hotel and there was no answer. In Miami officer assisted in flagging down the driver the next time they came around so I ended up standing there for over 45 minutes waiting for a shittle

Room never got cool enough to be comfortable. Very poor air flow.
