It is an old hotel, but the rooms were nice clean spacious. Parking structure was almost full when we got there so that was a struggle.

Been onest I was not impressed is an old hotel needs a remodel, cleanliness is ok, specifically my room had a really bad smell in the bathroom like old rags. I think it is unsafe all the surrounds because there is a lot of homeless on the streets. I have been there several times and each time gets a little worse.

This is my first time staying at the Eldorado for the Wing Festival and I did not have the best experience. The bed sheets were dirty, one of the couch pillows had lipstick stains all over it, and the room smelt sooo bad (cigarettes) and what was even worse was I was not able to open up the windows to air out the room (No access or ability to open the windows). I did reserve a smoking room, but I didn’t know it would smell so bad. I had to leave early because I couldn’t sleep with the smell. It gave me a bad headache. I departed at 3AM and drove all the way back home to Sacramento which was about a 2 hour drive. I didn’t realize how scary the drive would be either because the roads were extremely dark. Just glad I was able to get home safely.

This property feels outdated. Restaurants were not open late for a Saturday night. Stayed there after a concert thinking we could enjoy restaurant food. Instead went to the pizza place which only had two options. Breakfast food was very bland and pricey for what we got. Staff seemed to be having a difficult day.

Room was nice although bathroom door stuck. Half of the dinning facilities were closed, only open on weekends. Still charged the full resort fee though. Everything is expensive, even valet parking costs $15. $10.00 for a bottle of water???

After making the reservation, I reached out to the front desk to let them know it was a special occasion, I put in a few different requests but no acknowledgements whatsoever! reserved a king bed but when we go to the front desk she gave us 2 queens and said she had no other rooms! No DND sign in the room! 5am comes and I was trying to make coffee- coffee pot was broken! Housekeeping had to bring another one up. Both drains in the bathroom were plugged up, therefore, no drainage! There was also old trash on the floor! Nothing was done that I asked, being my wife’s birthday I wanted it to be something special. It wasn’t! The whole staff, even at the restaurant acted like they hated life. I would NEVER stay here again! Old, broken and tired all around. Spend your money somewhere else! This place doesn’t care about making guest experiences a good one. They only care about numbers. Believe me, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time here!

Air conditioner does not keep room cool. We sweat every night. Thermostat is set to 60 and it’s got to be over 80 in the room. Opening the door doesn’t help because the hallway is just as hot.

Elevators were malfunctioning, hot tub wasn’t available all weekend, and a slow check in. We had 7 people on a family trip. Quick stay would be ok for future but will not return for family trips.
