Hampton Inn and Suites Staten Island

The hotel was not bad but the amount of homeless people roaming the parking lot and sitting outside the hotel was unsettling. The room was clean and ok, nothing special. For the price, I expected better. Breakfast was a typical free buffet. They only had the pre-made western omlettes or hard boiled. Not very friendly for any food allergies. Some of the guests allowed their children to go and touch the food and put it back, very disgusting!

The refrigerator that we had in the room would not go on. The first day that they did the changing of the sheets they remove the washcloths and never replace them

Overall old hotel or seems like old, looks like maintenance not done for a long time.

I was in for a week helping out my in-laws and was working from the hotel room. I am a virtual therapist so CANNOT be disturbed so I ask for NO housekeeping for the week. One day I was on a session and they knocked and I had to interrupt a client to shop them away. I complained to the front desk who assured me that the boy was in the system and wouldn’t happen again. I was done earlier Friday and when I got back they had made up my room and changed my towels and I was leaving the next morning. I had left out stuff because I didn’t think anyone would be in the room and I was pretty mad that they couldn’t get my needing NOTHING right. Also, every morning at breakfast the staff were loud amongst themselves and it was not a great way to greet the day. Not relaxing at all. I was disappointed.

It's much money as you pay for a hotel in New York the police need to be better quality too damn soft the bed was not comfortable at all and behind the desk it was so much stuff back there where maintenance not pulling it out cleaning it

We booked for 3 nights and I got the confirmation then when we go to check in they don’t have the reservation they transfer us to their sister hotel again next day that hotel is no breakfast available. After 2 nights stay again Hilton is saying they booked only for 2 nights we were on tour with two kids such a horrible hotel to booked worst experience ever. Do not recommend this at all

It was Very nice, clean and quite

We had no hot water for our entire stay. We had to shower at our relative's house in Brooklyn. Additionally, very long lines for not-fresh breakfast. Not up to par for Hampton Inn.

Nice spacious room. Not near anything but quiet and safe place to stay. Room was huge!

Just stayed for a one night stay and we were impressed !!

I always stay here when I come to NY and this time I was a little disappointed. The room we were in was in desperate need of a little TLC. The tiles on the bathroom floor were loose. The bathroom faucet was also loose. It just seemed to me that for the price you pay for a room these days the room should be in good repair.
