Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham DFW Airport North

Room was decent but had a peculiar smell. They didn’t have any bathroom accessories like shampoo or hair dryer. I asked numerous times and never got one. The hallways reaked of weed. It was fine for the price.

I checked in with my dog in tow after booking through this website I say was however I wanted to stay a couple more days so I went to the front desk to ask the lady how much for two more days. Instead of just quoted me the two days. She started to say well you didn't pay your deposit that's $100. You did it mention that you had a dog. That's another $75. I told her I had my ID and debit card out when I checked in with my dog it's leash in my hand with the dog attached to it right behind me. It's not my fault if your co-workers don't do their job properly. So how much for the room she's like well pay me the $175 first and then I'll tell you the second two nights price. Ridiculous customer service.

It’s OK for the price didn’t expect much. He did say there was a breakfast included coffee is not considered breakfast. Hotel is near renovations and need to do lots of renovations to be better for the hotel smell like cigarette smoke even though it’s no smoking.

I was confused by the parking lot full of shipping containers and construction materials, but I did find the front desk. Check-in was seamless and smooth. The hotel was obviously under renovation. The room did NOT have a queen bed as stated on the website. It was an old lumpy double. The sink was dirty, but really why would you clean something that will be redone and needs new lighting?

I am not sure how this place is in business even. I would hope there are guidelines around there need to be basic working condition of hotel rooms that are rented out The room had no water coming in faucet in bathroom sink and the shower faucet did not work The hallway had many holes in the ceiling To top it off the staff was rude when I went to ask the faucet is not working if there is another room and his response was very rude and he would refund. So I was there at 8PM checkin and have to figure out my reservation elsewhere and move to new place.

The original room that was given to me was not ready the maid was still in the room. The 2nd room they gave me smelled like the Trinity River was running through the door entrance.

An ok place to sleep for a few hours after my flight was cancelled. Could use a freshening up in the kitchenette and bathroom Comfortable bed.

Filthy, roaches, bedbugs, RUDE

Nothing at all to eat around this hotel. We ubered here,but nothing close to walk to.

My room flooded from the bathtub. I asked for another room, they gave me one but it also had cracks in the tub and did not have a plug stop. I asked for another room and they didn't give it to me. I asked for a refund, so I could go to a different hotel, but I was denied. Anthony at the front desk was rude and ignored me, which is fine, because I don't pick a hotel based on the front desk person. Other issues were the room was clearly not cleaned. The cabinets even had old food in them.

Photo of stain on top sheet. Had to change rooms bathrooms. Both had stains on the shower floor. I will send forward letter to Windham.

First of all I called the hotel to get the shuttle when I arrived DFW airport I was tired, he answered the phone and hung up that’s why I got taxi, the breakfast is breakfast is big lie, there was no breakfast except coffee.

Waited an hour for a shuddl

I waited over an hour for the shuttle. I had to pay in Uber. I called twice to request it, but because of the staff with Indian accent, I couldn't understand much of what he was saying. His name is supposedly Anthony, he hung up on me twice. The third time, I spent over 5 minutes calling, and he didn't answer. He was super pedantic and arrogant. The shuttle arrived once, filled the vehicle, and didn't return for all of us who were waiting. When I got to the hotel in Uber the ceiling panels were loose in the hallway. There were cockroaches in the room. There were three pillows, two without covers. My reservation indicated breakfast was included, but there was only coffee, water, and a packet of oatmeal. It was horrible.

Staff very rude, no water in shower, roaches, the worst place to stay. Never again

The hotel was under construction and we walked through the construction site to get to our room. There was no warning or information that this would be the case. The phone in the room did not work, so we could not call the front desk. There were no cups in the room and the airport shuttle was not available even though we signed up the night before for one.

Bed was comfy and hotel was decent. No complimentary breakfast was provided as advertised (just muffins and tea was provided). Also no room service was provided for 3 days even after asking front desk, they mentioned they provide room service once every week. Had to ask for fresh towels and toiletries.

Ac was leaking big puddle....my boyfriend slipped.
