Great hotel and staff!

Great place, nice staff, and convenient to everything

The hotel was great- clean- in walking distance to Petco Park, the Midway, and all of the Gaslamp restaurants and shops. The valet staff was quick and polite- and the process was so easy when we needed our car. The hotel staff were helpful and kind- and I got texts daily to check in on our stay. They even helped with restaurant recommendations! If I ever get to visit San Diego again- I will def stay here!

The location to restaurants was good. Walking to Seaport Village was doable. Housekeeping missed servicing the room one day and the next day, I called them after 3pm. It was completed withing the hour.

I recently stayed at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp. While the room and location were, respectively, excellent and good, I was truly annoyed by a simple receipt issue. I specifically requested the receipt to be emailed to me. I'm surprised that such a basic issue would require webpage messages (which I completely ignored), multiple phone calls (with long wait times), and lengthy emails. It is unacceptable for Hilton to be unable to handle such a basic billing issue, which I had already experienced at another Hilton property overseas. It seems Hilton has lowered its customer service standards.

Great, boutique property. Very conveniently located to Coronado ferry, the Gaslamp restaurants and Petco Park!

Great stay with attentive and professional staff

The food options were great. The bed and duvet cover could be more comfortable. The fabric on the duvet cover wasn't very soft and the bed was okay. The pillows were nice. When I took a bath, the stopper didn’t hold the water. Water was leaking out as I continued to fill the bath. Also, the tile to tub connection had some gaps that need to be filled with silicon to prevent water damage. Other than that, the look of the room and amenities spaces were beautiful.

Steps from Harbor, convenient food. Shower was cold one day and party at Hard Rock next door was loud. Cost of valet too high

Excellent location, great staff and great facilities condition. Only available parking was the valet which I then found out was too expensive at $65/day, that is a my only negative of this hotel, that was never mentioned at the counter and that made the overall cost not that attractive.

PROS: beautiful property, 15 dollar voucher a day to spend, knowledgeable staff, streets are walkable, surrounded by plenty of fine dining options & convenience stores, pool was clean and cozy, housekeeping kept our rooms nice and stocked the entire stay CONS: very loud train nearby became frustrating in the morning when you’re trying to get some rest, many homeless folks around the area (some even exposing themselves), television was hard to figure out and super limited on channels, nightlife noises start once it gets dark so if you’re looking for peace and quiet I would stay elsewhere but I personally didn’t mind it

I paid for a premium room and view, and did not receive it. I was charge $2,500, plus an additional $365.00 not sure why. In addition, my room was not clean properly. the shower curtains smelled liked mildew, the shower head was not cleaned, molded, and it was disgusting and I feel they staff gave me the worse room because I was of a non white color. My experience was horrible. I was afraid my values were going to get stolen, therefore, I did not have services in my room. I came in one day and the safe was unlocked, so imagine how I felt. There is no need to add photos because the staff knows room 914 is disgusting. In addition, my first night 8 teenagers next to me made noise until 3 am and not one staff member and/or security did anything. I will never stay at the property again, and I am Hiltons member, not will I used Expedia ever again. Thank you!

Many small annoying details make this stay average. Staff not particularly happy their jobs and attitude conveyed that to guests. Would not opt for this Hilton in the future.

Excellent! I loved the walkability. There’s a Starbucks around the corner for breakfast. The nightlife was unmatched. 10/10

Do not use the valet service. Use self Parking nearby.
