Disappointing Stay Despite Loyalty This was by far one of my most unpleasant experiences with Holiday Inn, even though I’m a frequent customer and my husband is a Diamond/Elite member. I was placed in Room 105 on the first floor, which felt more like a basement. There was no privacy if I opened the window screen, but the room stayed dark if I kept it closed. Cleanliness was not up to standard — I found two hairs beside the microwave and had to kill a cockroach in the bathroom. The toilet had no aspirator or ventilation, which made it uncomfortable. Room 105 also faced an employee area, and I started hearing noise as early as 6:00–6:30 AM on the weekend. On top of that, other guests were frequently slamming their doors in the morning, making it hard to rest. It might be worth addressing the door noise somehow. The one redeeming part of the stay was that breakfast was fine and as expected and the area around the hotel is beautiful.

Great property, great location. Nice and clean. Active railroad right across the street is a little noisy at times, although i dont think it would be as noisy if we weren't on the backside facing it. Excellent staff.

Clean hotel, friendly staff

Professional and kind staff. Comfortable and clean room, bed, pillows, and bathroom. Dining options were close by.

Housekeeping and front desk staff helpful and courteous. Tasty breakfast buffet with several food and beverage choices. Spacious fitness center with nice exercise equipment.

Nicely appointed, clean rooms. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. As a senior citizen, I appreciated the higher toilets, plus the adherence to a quiet period from 10 pm to 6 am. The one negative was having to get a coffee pot from the front desk. That was a tad inconvenient.

We needed a stopover hotel. This hotel was very close to the freeway exit. It is well maintained and has a decent amount of breakfast choices. It was relatively quiet, but they had a note up in the room that if you are a light sleeper you could get ear plugs at the desk. What a nice touch! We will certainly stay here again when passing through the area

Convenient

The Hotel its self is nice and clean. However, the beds were hard and not comfortable. Also, there’s a train right behind the hotel and it ran several times both nights we were there so we didn’t get much sleep either night.

We arrived late at night as we were passing through on a longer trip. We arrived to our room and opened the door to immediately notice a strong urine odor. The toilet had urine in it. There was a half eaten pizza on the desk. There were dreary clothes from previous guests. Food and trash was all over the floor. It was disgusting. We called the front desk and they informed us we would get a new room. BUT we had to cart all our luggage back down to the desk to get a new room key then cart it all to the new room. They couldn’t just bring us a new room key to the new room. Very inconvenient. The staff never apologized and in fact, kept telling us the room was clean. No one cared and it was terrible customer service. Sharon was the name of the woman at the front desk but we didn’t get the names of the other two males as no one had name tags on. There was never an apology or acknowledgement of what happened or the inconvenience. We were also told they couldn’t reimburse us ANYTHING since we booked through a third party. So, if you’re not smart enough to stay away from this place the at least book directly through through them so you can be reimbursed for how terrible it was There was a buffet breakfast just as you would find at all the other hotels. The food was dried out like it had been sitting since the previous day. Coffee was watered down.
