Horseshoe Tunica Casino and Hotel

There was blood all over the sheets on one side of the bed. I noticed the blood on my second morning. I slept on one side of the bed so I pulled down the sheets on the side I was sleeping on. My niece stayed the night in my room and slept on that side of the bed. She didn’t pull the sheets because there was an extra comforter on the bed that she used. I noticed the blood when she woke up to look for her sock. When we pulled the blanket back and moved the pillows to look for her sock I saw the blood on the pillows, sheets and comforter. I would’ve never known the blood was there if my niece hadn’t stayed with me. I mentioned my niece used an extra comforter when she stayed with me. It wasn’t the comforter that I was sleeping under. This comforter along with two pillows and sheets were left in my room after I checked in, dropped off my luggage, and left the room. I came back that night to find these items on the bed. I didn’t request additional bedding but somehow they were placed in the room. The front desk had no knowledge of who or why someone entered the room to deliver additional bedding. They also couldn’t tell me why the bed was made without removing the bloody sheets and pillows. I requested another room but they were sold out. The surrounding hotels were sold out so I stayed in that room. The sheets were changed. This was disgusting! Front desk staff Chassity tried to assist but management said I booked thru a 3rd party so I have to reach out to them.

Waited over an hour after checkin to get a room, had to downgrade, rude people at checkin desk, room stunk of excessive weed. The entire floor was damp, carpet was peeling up from the floor, exposed carpet nails.

Lighting was poor in the hotel room. Had a hard time seeing to read or put on makeup

Tunica, in general, is a ghost of what it used to be in years past. Their giveaways and comps are almost nonexistent now. The service on the casino floors is terrible. It took me 40 minutes to get a beverage from the time i requested one. I only saw a couple of waitresses trying to serve everybody. The restaurants are only open certain days. I guess weekends are really the best time to go. The floor we stayed on smelled like marijuana. Didnt see anybody really hitting any jackpots. It would not surprise me if most of the casinos were closed in the next few years. On a good note, casino and hotel staff were pleasant and professional at all times. And the room at the Horseshoe was nice.

Good clean room very comfortable will stay again

TV didn’t work for last half of visit, called and they sent me to maintenance dept and got voicemail. Left message and never heard from them. No exhaust fan in bathroom, so mold seen on ceiling above shower and on walls around mirror. Room itself was nice and clean but dark. Only lights were one light in entry way and lamps between bed which were very dim.

Lobby was nice and staff were helpful. Rooms were disgusting. Sheets dirty and stained. Toilet lid broken. Floors smell like they haven’t been cleaned in forever. The food wasnt bad at the 8oz burger but at Guys restaurant we found to bones in the pork. As for the gambling can’t complain it is what it is.

Bad security in the front

Strange smell in the hallways and things were randomly dropped on the floors in the hotel hallways. Overnight and the next day.

It was ok

This was my first time staying here and will not be my last great staff and comfortable rooms i did not want to leave.

Where do I start !! First room had bodily fluids on couch and on bathroom vanity. Next you pay $94.00 for one night ( resort fee ) this is for 1 night of WiFi. We DID NOT HAVE WIFI the whole 5 day stay. Next room the bathtub drain had not been cleaned in years !! TV’s super small and the one in bathroom did not work. I was told they are doing away with bathroom tv’s. I had to call and ask for towels, the refrigerator did not work most of the time it would get cold and then defrost. You have to show your drivers license every time you go in the casino. Even though you are staying at hotel. Plus I was called out one night leaving casino going back to my room ( the only white lady ) I was singled out and asked to show my room key !!! While others did NOT HAVE TOO !! So many issues with this stay .. Me and my husband have traveled so many places and have NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS !!!! Terrible

Enjoyed the overall experience. Rooms, pool and some other general areas need updated. Several of the machines at the bars needed repaired

To start off I called and asked for towels and it took 30 minutes and I had to call back Just to remind them about the towels. Then no one told us that we had to request coffee maker and coffee and there was no microwaves (They Ran Out!?) is what she told us then we waited the next day and they told us it was ( $10) extra charge and the drink machine was completely out of drinks and the machine took my money and I had to go downstairs to the desk to tell them and they let me get a drink from the gift shop and they had me waiting 10 minutes to check the cameras to Make sure I was telling the truth and I felt very Offended!! And had to tell the other guest to come down to get it because the room was in his name causing an inconvenience of me coming down the lobby.

The bed was good, but the room had dust everywhere. The property was dated and they don’t tell you about the resort fee until you check in.

My first room: There was mold in the refrigerator and dust on the lamps. Bed had spots on the bed skirt. Second room was better but also needed a deep clean. Casino and staff were nice.

I was very disappointed about the hotel. I was on the 2nd floor and it wasn't very inviting. It was dark, deary, and it smelled bad. The room was outdated. There ŵas no microwave, no coffee maker,the outlets didn't work, and I couldn't connect to the wifi. It was clean and plenty towels. A place ro rest. The bed was comfortable.
