The room was very clean, no smell, the carpet seemed newer? Very nice bedding. Very spacious room, really enjoyed the stay and would absolutely book here again. The front desk staff was friendly and check in was super easy.
Needed a key card to operate the elevator, which was an added layer of security.

Hotel.com booked my trip for 2/14-2/16 in advance without knowing that the hotel was shut down.I arrived at 2:45 pm ready to check in and was met by yellow no occupancy stickers on the door and a notice to contact management.The management gave no explanation and told me to deal with the matter through your website.I am so glad I didn't use the option to pay in advance for the full stay or I would've been out of money and had a horrible Valentine's Day experience.I ended up finding a much nicer hotel in the area on short notice.However,I paid $10.00 for an added layer of insurance protection and I need it back.

Overall my stay was good; the front desk staff was really nice but the only thing that really didn't sit well with me was they there was literally no hot water. That's not the fault of the front desk of course but that did have an impact on my rating.

The room had 2 out of three light switches broken. They were motion activated but could not be turned off. This meant that the whole room was illuminated when someone needed to use the bathroom in the night. We asked reception if they could fix the issue and they said they were sending a repairman. Half an hour later we asked again and they said he was 30 minutes away. At midnight he still hadn't come and the children were passing out; they finally admitted there was no one coming and to just tape over it.

Very dirty through whole hotel. Inside and out. Rooms did not get cleaned during the two days we stayed there. Found pubes on the floor of our bathroom when we got there and a condom in the parking lot our second night.
