First off, what do you expect from a hotel on 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn? My expectations were low to the point where it would be hard to imagine them being any lower. This hotel managed to come in under them though. I've stayed here several times, because I'm cheap. That is the only reason a person would stay here. Because they don't want to spend the money on somewhere nicer, or they can't. Extremely and needlessly noisy - the stairwell doors are constantly slamming, the elevator beeps very loudly, the maid is in the echo-y hallway blasting music through her phone speaker and singing along - easy things to fix The carpet in the room was damp. They seem to be running some sort of shelter as well, which I'm all for but it's awfully expensive given that. I lived in this area are of Brooklyn for quite a while, so I know it to be relatively safe, but if I was coming from out of town I would probably think it looked pretty sketchy. I don't know how I would have been able to sleep had I not had earplugs. So noisy. I've stayed in many hotels in NYC and I lived there for 15 years - it's a noisy place. I fully understand that. But this place is needlessly noisy, cheap, damp, sad and still expensive. The guys at the front desk are really polite and friendly. That part of the transaction is always easy.

This stay at the hotel was the worst it was roach infested

Room rent per night should have been cheaper as it's located in an area far away from most tourist locations in NYC.

So much noise. Highway noise all night, which, luckily, drowns the noise you can hear in the hallway of people singing and having ... a really good time. Also, please note that the bathroom door doesn't really close.

Supply every need

It's located in a neighborhood that is being redeveloped. The Industry is the area just a couple of blocks away.

Clean, quiet & easy check-in

The receptionists were incredibly nice! We checked in late and they called to make sure we were still coming, and when we asked for a slightly later check out time, they were very understanding!

Basic hotel simpel but good Breakfast good be better. If you only want to sleep in the hotel perfect. PET friendly

Great hotel

It was just fine to me. Convenient area, staff was nice and accomodated me to stay until 3pm with no crazy fees. Considerinf coming from a concert from Barclay’s just to stay the night, it was a good experience. A little noisy in the morning but it is called for due to the positioning of the room. Would stay there again.

As a solo traveler I felt a bit unease at night in my room although nothing did happen during my stay. The first night around midnight there was a woman yelling and banging on a door on my floor. The both nights I was there it sounded like furniture was being moved around all night above me. But other than that it’s close to a train station and staff was nice.

Good hotel

This hotel is very basic, don’t expect much Breakfast was continental bagels, slices of bread, tiny donuts and pre-cooked egg also juices and coffee. Better than no breakfast.
