Roami at Bourbon Place

We were so excited to go to this property based off of the pictures we saw.Once we got there we felt very isolated and there was no option to sit on any balcony shown in the pictures. Worst of all was when we’re ready for bed. The sheets had old blood on them so we grabbed new ones and when we went to lay down the bed felt unstable so we picked up the mattress and there were flimsy broken boards and some of the frame was put back together with 2x4s. We couldn’t sleep on there so went to the couch. Called the next morning and they had us sitting around till 3 on my birthday just to have someone riding a scooter come add more flimsy boards and 2x4s instead of just moving us to another room. They stated all the rooms had the same bed frame and we would encounter the same issue so it was best to stay where they had added the 2x4s. I could not believe what I was hearing. I could not believe that’s what we paid for. I was so disappointed in this place. They need to accommodate their guests and never say there’s nothing they can do. They need to replace their furniture and sheets. Inspect it before letting someone else in. I wish I could add the pictures we took but we had to add the review to warn other people :/

Clean and great cost

When I was planning a girls trip to New Orleans, I stumbled upon a listing for this location. It was within walking distance of several of the main attractions and was cheaper than even some of the sketchier hotels. The rooms was beautiful, clean and well stocked with anything a visitor could want! I loved the easy self checkin and checkout system. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking to book a trip to New Orleans!!

This location is very convenient and it's close to public transportation and most tourist places.

Great property, well maintained with everything we needed. Only recommendation would be to have property managers provide better blinds or black out curtains for the bedroom facing Carondelet. The street light is at window level on the second floor and is quite bright.

First off the location was fantastic, the property was spacious, that’s the only positives , when we arrived the property was dirty I called and they sent someone that only cleaned one spot and not the rest , we had a broken remote for the tv , they were supposed to send another and never did , we found a working one on the third day under the couch . The floors and chairs were disgusting . Bring house shoes , they don’t provide and cleaning supplies there I couldn’t clean the floor ( wet vac, swiffer , mop) my socks were black from the floor .

Spacious rooms, complete kitchen, excellent location. Some items need to be fixed: vent in bathroom not working, bedroom TV not working, carpets need to be secured at corners where they curl up-especially in bedroom as they're tripping hazards. Only mirror is in the bathroom - would be nice to have one in bedroom as well.

The property was nearby eating areas and the entertainment. Very clean and convenient for shopping as well. Highly recommend.

The location was the highlight of our stay—it’s within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and right on Bourbon Street, which was super convenient. However, there were a few things that detracted from the experience. There was no clear information about where we could check our bags while waiting to check into our room. We were left confused, and someone pulled up and looked at us like we were crazy as we tried to figure out how to access the luggage area. They then proceeded to talk to us like as I felt like a child which I felt was extremely unnecessary consider considering we were trying to explain to him the situation. Even our cab driver was trying to explain the situation to him, but the guy was still talking to us like that. The heating system was also an issue. Even with the heater turned up, it was still cold, as all the heat seemed locked in the bathroom and bedroom. One of the vents even seemed to blow cold air instead of heat. Lastly, the washing machine and dishwasher were filled with mildew and mold, which was off-putting. The location is great, but the management needs to address these issues to make the stay more comfortable for future guests.

The apartment was nice. Very close to everything it great having the street car right in front of the apartment to get to everything. The only problem I had with the apartment is when we arrived we did not have washcloths to take a shower and the TV remote in the living room did not have batteries. Too many remotes laying around to the TVs that did not work. We did not have internet for almost two days which caused us not to use our TV. Did not have body wash but had hand soap, shampoo and conditioner! Why not have body wash or soap to bath if everything else was available? Sofa in the living room is very hard and bed in bedroom is way too low, very hard to get off the bed.

The apartment is beautiful! Nice and easy check-in with great instructions. I read reviews beforehand about the noise from the street car and how the balcony is hard to access, but I just wanted to say that it really isn’t that bad. If you have sensitive ears, then the noise from the crowds and the streetcar running late/early in the morning will probably keep you up at night. If you get the two bedroom apartment, then you won’t really hear any noise from the back room away from the street. As far as accessing the balcony, there was a review about how it was hard to lift the window, but it really wasn’t that hard at all and I’m not a super big or muscular woman. Also didn’t have to prop the window open with anything because the window stayed open, but I did place something down just in case. If your eyes are sensitive to light then you might want to bring a face mask to sleep with due to there being blinds and not curtains in the bedroom. In conclusion, the apartment is very spacious and beautiful, it’s very close to restaurants and everything that you’ll need, close to bourbon street and the canal, and it’s close to a street car station so it was a great stay for me. The apartment was clean and roomy. The balcony was a nice bonus space to sit outside, chill and people watch. Great view of 4th of July fireworks. Downside is to get on the balcony you have to lift a heavy window and secure it with a metal pole. Fortunately I was traveling with a friend to help me They really need to replace that window with french doors to make it easier to use the balcony. Another downside is the rooftop swimming pool is at a sister property, Roami at The Brandywine, about 9 blocks away. Lastly the supply area was not restocked on a daily basis. Overall nice property and 30 seconds from Bourbon St. I would stay again but at the sister property where the pool is.

The place is nice and comfortable. Close to canal and French Quarter. Only down side is trolley is loud and starts early in the morning. So if your early bed great alarm clock. It’s very bright in the mornings. Only blinds no curtains.

They checked us into a room that had not been cleaned. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone for a long time. Gave us a “$80” refund which we never received.
