Sawmill Creek by Cedar Point Resorts

Great place to stay still close enough to Cedar Point to enjoy. Breakfast buffet great as an option. Restaurant and bar on site. Pool was good. Only 2 floors so easy to navigate resort.

This was a beautiful property, with the best staff! Everyone was kind and helpful. Clean, clean, clean! They have lifeguards on staff too. My suggestions to perfect it so I’d return… please have complimentary black coffee & tea. There is no coffee in rooms or in the vestibule, you must purchase at Starbucks. Pool bar wasn’t open, dining options were very limited, especially for kids. A shame to not have pool day snacks & drinks. Emily up front was very helpful as was EVERYONE. Rachel at Starbucks was amazing, busting those orders out so fast, she was so kind, and knowledgable. Overall 10/10, just need to improve food & drink options.

The bed was very spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning kept the room a perfect temperature the whole time. The bathrooms were excellent, with among the best hotel showers I've ever experienced. I think the only complaint I'd have is that sound doesn't filter very well and anything that happens in the hallways is very audible. I do wish the rooms had coffee makers, as mine was very far from the café, but it was only a minor inconvenience.

Pro’s-This property was very clean! -Had the option of indoor or outdoor pool so when some storms rolled in, could still use the indoor pool. -Outdoor pool was a comfortable temperature. -Plenty of parking, even with an event going on at the other part of the Resort. Con’s-Didn’t like that our room didn’t have a coffee maker in it, and it felt like you had to go get some coffee from their Starbucks Shop(should be free in rooms for price of room)! -Outside Hot Tub was lukewarm, which was a bummer(need it warmer)! -The biggest thing that bothered me was that even though this is a “Cedar Point” Resort, they didn’t offer shuttles to Cedar Point! Their website said that they did but then realized later it must have meant that they offer car services that you have to pay for. So even though I paid a lot for a couple nights at this Resort, I still had to drive to Cedar Point(down the road) and pay $30 for one day parking!! So next time, I’ll stay at a more affordable hotel, that includes more options for the price.

The facility was well maintained and clean. We had a great time there. Enjoyed the golf course and pool. Conveniently located.

This was my boyfriend and I first vacation together. We celebrated our 2 year anniversary at Sawmill creek resort. Let’s just say it was fantastic, with a breakfast restaurant and a dinner restaurant. Plus Starbucks!! A lovely out door and indoor pool. Just everything was perfect for our first vacation together and our anniversary. The Millers table was great our wonderful waitress helped us celebrate with a delicious crème brûlée dessert. We will definitely be back before summer officially ends! Thank you guys so much what a lovely staff !

It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities.

Kids loved the pool

My boyfriend and I recently booked Sawmill Creek for two nights so we could visit Cedar Point. It exceeded our expectations every way. The grounds are lovely, and the hotel common spaces are so cozy. I heard it underwent a big renovation and it's clear they put in the work. The room was large, shower worked great, bed was very comfortable with a great pool view. I liked that it wasn't right up near the park, honestly - the short drive is nice and it made us try out a local diner. We didn't have enough time to try out the pool and hot tubs, but we did have apps, drinks, and dessert at Miller's Table which was also great. We will be back!

Property was very large, and long walk from front desk to assigned room was annoying...this was made more dissappointing by the clear lack of available parking, especially anywhere close to assigned room

Nice pool area for kids. Should separate sports teams from families. Halls are noisy late night with kids and doors slamming

This place was a breathe of fresh air!!!! Nice, clean,and safe! The pool were even tested often so i knew that swimming was going to be safe for the family. I will def come back here!

Absolutely beautiful grounds. Very clean and comfortable

Nice place to stay at. Too many kids though slamming doors and running in halls 1st night there. Didn’t have time to use pools during our stay. No free breakfast. Most Expensive compared to other places we have stayed at recently.

Breakfast buffet at senior price was wonderful. Room was acceptable but there was noise outside room hallway of voices, people walking/running, slamming doors, loud talking non stop from 8pm until 6am.

HAD A AMAZING TIME

kids running the hallways at 2 in the morning. Banging doors no coffee in the rooms. room numbers and sections confusing.

Due to the fact people were slamming doors and running up and down the hallways and just being loud overall will have me second guess staying at this location again. Impossible we were the only people annoyed with all the commotion outside our room.
