The room was clean and comfortable- if you take a close look you can tell it’s an older building that has been updated by all the old lumps and dents in the walls they painted over lol. Otherwise it looks very nice and is clean which is the most important. Plenty of outlets in the room and a full length mirror! The two women at the desk when I checked in were very pleasant and informative however at check out the gentlemen at the counter was sassy and seemed to not want to be bothered. I arrived at the breakfast towards the end and it was just bagels with toppings, muffins, cereal, and hard boiled eggs.. not sure if there were hot foods earlier that I missed. Overall Id stay here again.

Was so noisey and the walls are so thin you can hear everything in each room. I booked a room for just me ( and single female) and put me in a room with a shared door between another room. Wouldnt stay here again but was in a pinch when booking travel

I enjoyed my stay at this property. Everything was quite nice. The only thing that I wish they had offered was an in-room coffee maker. They do offer 24/7 coffee on the second floor, as well as a continental breakfast. However, I would’ve preferred to have been able to make my own coffee in my room without having to get dressed and venture down the hall. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel and I’d certainly stay there again.

Great stay at Sparks.
The room was very clean. The front desk was very helpful and welcoming.
The beds were comfy and the morning breakfast was great and much appreciated.
We took our two pets as well. Very pet friendly!!!!!!!

The hotel is in a great location if you’re visiting Mystic. This used to be a Days Inn, but since it became spark, it definitely upgraded and it shows very well. The only thing that I found weird was that there were no clocks in the rooms. We had two rooms booked, none of which had a clock, so that was kind of weird other than that I will be staying here in the future!

We had to drive around the whole hotel to find the entrance. It would have helped to have better signage. Just a big "Main office" sign with an arrow when you drive in would have helped. That being said, there was plenty of parking, the staff was very helpful and the actual room was well designed. The sink was outside of the bathroom, which is always a plus. My one complaint would be the continental breakfast. Compared to the other 5 hotels we stayed in this vacation, they had the least choice and seemed rather stingy. Only apples for fruit, only bagels and two kinds of cereal for carbs. Hard boiled eggs for protein. Compared to the number of guest rooms/ guests, there could have been more seating for breakfast - hard to find a table free. Still, the actual sleeping was fine, and everyone seemed to love the pool (we didn't use it).
