SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte Airport

La habitacion estaba sucia! No habia jabon para lavarse las manos y tampoco shampoo en la ducha. Se supone que un hotek de Marriott siempre tiene que ser limpio y completo

After getting delayed in Charlotte, the airport shuttle was the main draw to this hotel. The shuttle, check-in, and breakfast were exactly what we needed after a stressful end to a day of travel delays.

Check in was great and the staff member was excellent with trying to accommodate our needs. The first room we were in didn’t have hot water so we ask to move. The second was smaller, had hot water, but had mold growing in the bathroom. Overall, not a good experience for just being there a few hours.

Terrible !!!No shampoo, conditioner or body wash liquid in the bathroom. Asked them to put some the second day. The guy at the front said you either get soap or body wash not both and didnt bother putting new shampoo or conditioner either. Terrible breakfast too . Never coming back

It’s okay. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The staff was under a lot of pressure because maybe 15 or so people arrived at the same time in the middle of the night due to cancelled flights. Took a very long time to check in. One of their card readers wasn’t working. Pool was out of service.

I’ll caveat this by noting there were many, many delays at Charlotte airport, rendering a large number of people scrambling for a hotel room. With that being said, it was more than an hour in line to check in — no, that’s not an exaggeration: 12:32a - 1:34a. There were two people at the front desk, a woman and a man. The woman was fantastic; she had a good disposition and was checking people in while answering the phone. The man was basically refusing to help anyone and was very rude. The room was older, however bedding was updated and beds were comfortable, but it was NOT a $200 a night room. It was more akin to a budget hotel with many things needing attention including two of the three locks on my room. Overall, it was a last minute need and it met that, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room smelt terrible. Mold in the bathroom. Had to ask for sheets for the pull out sofa.

The room was not up to a Marriott standard at all. The lobby smelled like mildew. The phone did not work. There were stains on the carpet , walls and tub and I had to get cleaning items delivered just to be able to stay there. Someone was always walking from the desk and the complimentary shuttle is not convenient at all.

Room was not the quality I expected. Tub and shower very outdated and stained, along with a big stain on the couch

the staff were very disrespectful and dismissive, won’t choose this springhill ever again

The bath tub was clogged and the ironing board legs were broken in half.

I was extremely unhappy with the room conditions. We received a handicap room when it was not requested & not a suite as booked. Immediately, the room temperature was below par. It was not maintaining the requested temperature set on thermometer after an unseasonably warm Charlotte day. Front staff was notified immediately and response was I'd have to wait until next day when maintainence member was available. Overnight room was uncomfortably hot. Next day I had to initiate the request again because it was not handled. Hotel was outdated & carpets were visibly stained in hallways. This transitioned into the room furniture which had stains on sofa cushions & beds were not expertly made. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for future stays.

Easy and value

No amenities , pool out of operation , 305 room needs to be renovated massive stains in ceiling in bathroom looks like water damage and or mold .. bad lighting in room one lamp didnt work and one bed stained on upholstery

The man at the front desk was VERY RUDE and disrespectful. I got the room through Expedia and he asked for me to swipe my card. I did thinking it was for incidentals and he then said swipe it again for incidentals. He said that my first swipe was for the room because it was not paid for totally. I asked him how when I had the reciept. He said he could not tell me why and that he didnt have to tell me why. He caused a big scene which was embarrassing. My room was totally paid for through Expedia. I have never been through that before. I am a rewards member for Marriott.

Despite the short stay, all was great.

Great Location, airport shuttle service, front desk. This was a very good located hotel for a short trip in Charlotte . I would recommend!

There was no safe in the room

It was well maintained.

I chose this location because it was listed as having an indoor pool. After check-in, my boys headed down to swim - no water in the pool!
