Super 8 by Wyndham St Charles

The rooms were ok, but it was very loud, people fighting all night, the doors slamming were very loud and there is a trailer park right outside that was noisy as well. Staff was nice, room nice, the rest was not.

Major disturbances throughout the night. Called front desk and it quieted down for about while, but still continued

We had to be up at 5:30 am. There were kids running up and down hallways, slamming doors at 12:30 am. So got barely any sleep.

Was happy for price

When we arrived there was a man in parking lot surrounded by police, saw him again at hotel that night as he went yelling down hallway. Many people standing outside entrance smoking each evening. Hotel smelled strongly of ammonia. Bed bug crawled across bed on day 3. Only good point was very pleasant man at front desk, who called, apologized and refunded 1 night after bed bug was caught and left at front desk.

We reserved 3 rooms and all were fine except one. The hot water was more like like warm and the coffee pot still had the previous persons pod in it and there were no condiments for my coffee

There seemed to be something odd with my reservation. They indicated that my address showed up as from a foreign country. I did get a room that had no clock and the smoke detector was laying on the dresser, the bathroom door would not latch and it appears that they have done some primer painting and never came back to finish the job although there was no evidence elsewhere on the property of a renovation in progress. Swam in the indoor pool. Breakfast is scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, bread & butter or jelly, cereal, apple, coffee, tea, juice. Staff is friendly and tries to be accommodating - I think they all smoke (just outside the door) as this is a non-smoking facility.

There was a jetted tub in the bathroom, but it didn't seem to work. Noisy from neighbors (similar to a small airplane), some highway noise from outside was usually drowned out. Breakfast had scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy but not the waffles usually associated with a Super 8 stay and bed was a bit more firm than typical. Staff was a little slow to show up to greet on arrival, but seemed nice and efficient in his welcome speech at check in. Check out was smooth and efficient.

This property is very out dated and dirty.

Breakfast and television were good. Bed was comfortable.

It was a nice relaxing night we got to spend time together. After being turned away at two other places due to being on the no rent list because someone else used my license to rent rooms YEARS ago, and I’m still paying the consequences. After my bank card wouldn’t allow anymore charges and completely locked me out of the system. I had thankfully gotten cash and the wonderful lady checking us in made an exception and allowed us to pay cash and check in. Thank you… you saved our night! It was SO greatly appreciated!
