An Atlantic City Jem! Great service and staff! Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. The Twenties Italian bistro is excellent and the view from the rooftop Viu bar is awesome!

We love The Claridge Hotel. We have gotten to know a few of the people there, especially in the restaurant. The Chef and his wife run the food and beverage there. They are the nicest couple. They have trained staff to be polite and put out the best food in Atlantic City.... We think the food is 5 star!! The rooms are quiet and nice. We had one issue with a room, and were changed to a perfect room in 5 minutes. We like to stay there rather than Casino Hotels which can be noisy and crowded. This 1920s design is perfect. Great view of the beach and surrounding areas and the rooftop bar, The Vue, is a nice place to relax with a beverage and take in the open deck on the roof. You won't be dissapointed.

Hotel was very clean and staff extremely helpful. Only issue is the park in front of the hotel is the home of many homeless people. Other than that its a great place to stay.

Elevators are 10-40 minute wait pretty consistently. Room was disgusting, jacuzzi tub was filthy with a visible ring around the tub, paint above the shower was peeing with holes and the sheets were stained and possibly unwashed. Every surface was sticky or dirty. Air conditioner was preset with the coldest temp setting being 73. Hotel staff causally discussed my floor being “infested with bed bugs” and seemed annoyed that people were complaining. This room wasn’t cheap for as gross as it was. Parking garage is owned by a third party and it’s 25 a day, but you can come and go by scanning a receipt. The only positive was the lady who checked me in, she was friendly and efficient.

This stay was terrible with a long list of issues. First, I had to wait 2.5-hours after the check-in time for my room. The lines to check in were unrelenting as there was a lot going on in AC that weekend; I knew that staff were doing their best so I didn’t want to make a stink about it at the time. I just kept going back every half hour to see if my room was ready. While waiting to check in, I was sitting on a sofa and the ceiling leaked on me. That was just one of many issues that made the hotel feel run-down. While I understood that the property was undergoing a renovation, it felt like it www very long overdue. Another issue was that there were few working elevators. Thus, you had to wait a long time for one to arrive and sometimes, they were too full to get on. When I got to the room, the bathroom had wallpaper missing with holes and paint blotches on the walls. I also saw a cockroach on the table (thankfully, I was checking out that morning). Finally, the halls reeked of marijuana as soon as I stepped out of my hotel room. I will never return to this hotel (not to mention that it wasn’t inexpensive).

It was nice having things to do inside the hotel on our rainy day. But service for small things like towels was horrible. Elevator experience wasn’t good either. We did like that the boardwalk and ocean was only a block away from us. All in all our stay was alright.

Mi experiencia no fue muy agradable. Desde el estacionamiento que se sentia inseguro y olia a orin en los alrededores y el area de los elevadores. Al llegar a hacer el check in, no habia habitaciones disponible y yo no era la unica reserva la cual no tenia habitacion disponible. Le agradezco a la gerente que me atendio muy amable y nos permitio hacer un check out mas tarde debido a esa situacion.
No estaban funcionando todos los elevadores y fue una pesadilla utilizar los que si servian. Habia muchos huespedes esperando y era dificil ir a la habitacion o salir de esta.
En el baño de la habitacion habia un jabon con pelo y debajo de la cama una botella, lo que i dica que la limpieza no fue muy buena.

This is a historic hotel and it was nice not have the cookie cutter feel of all the newer hotels. There are no microwaves in the rooms, which was disappointing considering we need to re-heat food my one-year old son and had to order out all the time

The property is in major need of upgrades. I understand the building is over 100 years old but not to make repairs to the building is a crime. in a hotel with over 20 floors and five elevators but only two to three work and you rather take the stairs to walk 10 floors in lieu of waiting a half hour for the elevator. Not to mention the room we stayed in the shower door is off track. Also, the hallways and elevators are not air conditioned and you melt before you reach your destination. I have used this facility in the past and it was adequate, but the quality of stay has deteriorated.

This property needs some updating of the rooms and property. Elevators were extremely slow and waited 15 minutes to get a ride down. A line to go up that was a free for all with rude people cutting to skip the line. Staff was friendly but limited in how they could help. Room was nice but outdated matress.

I’m extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, things went downhill. I had to wait far too long to check in, which set a frustrating tone for the rest of my visit. The elevator was painfully slow, and getting to my room felt like a chore.
I specifically booked an ocean view room expecting something beautiful and relaxing—but what I got was a dirty, sealed window that I couldn’t even open. There was no view to enjoy, and the room itself was so dark and gloomy, it felt depressing. The atmosphere was completely uninviting, and certainly not what you’d expect from a room that costs $400 per night.
Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations in any way. For the price, I expected much more. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, but the amenities in this hotel are outdated and somewhat dingy. The elevators take a very long time, and the lights on most of the buttons in this hotel are out. Parking is $27 overnight, and breakfast options are limited and not complimentary. The staff was helpful, but there was long lines at the front desk because there was only one or two people there. Honestly would not stay here again, as there's definitely better options elsewhere.

We went on a busy weekend so I get it. Things happen we got stuck in the elevator and then 3 out of the 5 elevator stopped working so it was like 30 min waits to go up and down front desk staff was rude. Our hot tub had water in it in the room… I gave it 2 star because the French toast in the restaurant was good. The service we got in the restaurant was poor tho
