Terrible experience with bathroom situation, terrible view, location, flies in the bathroom, clogged pipes and etc. never want to go back

Stayed for the US Open and this hotel was excellent. Lovely staff and valet. Great breakfast. Thanks for a great stay.

We enjoyed a three day staycation and had a great time. The room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The area wasn’t so great, but it didn’t stop me from having a relaxing stay!

At first one may question the area but nobody bothers at all

Room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Street is a bit isolated and industrial looking. Shower water pressure was not that good which was disappointing because I look forward to great water pressure in a nice hotel bathroom. Otherwise, a nice hotel and a good stay. Thank you!

Staff was very pleasant, convenient location for my stay, fridge and microwave a plus, television channels were good. WiFi worked very well, breakfast was great. Overall comfortable stay.

Nice room with kitchen, decent full breakfast daily, only negative is 10min walk from F train stop through the projects. Uber about 6.00. stay here and plan to Uber back and forth. Also no hand soap so bring your own.

Although the room was smaller than expected; we enoyed our stay at TownePlace Suites. Breakfast options were really good. Neighborhood quiet, walkability to nearest subway is good.

The bathroom floor was dirty; it didn't look like it had been cleaned. We were only there for the night,so not a big concern, but...there was a woman running in and out of her room from 2-3:00 in the morning. Talking loudly, slamming the door. She didn't sound drunk, so maybe going outside for drugs or something else shady. When you're just trying to catch some sleep, it's very annoying. Other than that, the hotel was fine for an overnight. We didn't eat or drink there, so we can't comment on that.

J’avais beaucoup d’appréhension le premier jour en voyant le quartier. Mais finalement, tous s’est très bien passé. Personnel aux petits soins, metro pas très loin, le petit déjeuner est bien avec un personnel fantastique Merci pour ce séjour

Sehr gute Anbindung an die Subway, zur Station 5-10 Minuten fußläufig, in 5-10 Minuten Fahrt in Manhattan. Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, hat uns mit Stiften für unsere Stadtplanung ausgeholfen. Aufzüge funktionierten super und schnell, verstehe die vielen negativen Bewertungen von anderen Gästen dazu nicht... Unser Zimmer hatte eine angemessene Größe mit großem Bett, das Bad war auch in einem guten Zustand. Leider war der Fußboden anhand unserer Füße nicht der sauberste. Nachts war es in unserer Straße oft lange lauter und das Fenster ließ sich schwer schließen. Der Air Conditioner war laut und wir haben ihn nur bis zum Schlafengehen laufen lassen. Das Housekeeping bestand aus Handtücher wechseln und Müll leeren, das Bett wurde nicht gemacht (hat mich nicht gestört, fiel aber auf, da viele andere Hotels das täglich machen). Unser Zimmer zeigte nicht nach Manhattan wie in der Beschreibung des Hotels angegeben, hat mich aber nicht gestört. Ist vielleicht nur gut zu wissen für die Buchung, entweder keine zu hohen Erwartungen an die Aussicht oder eine Zimmerkategorie höher nehmen. Das Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch kontinental= Cornflakes, Muffins, Toast, Bacon, Rührei und etwas Obst. Wer gesünder essen will, sollte sich (wie wir) selbst essen kaufen. Anhand des Kühlschrank und Toasters in unserem Zimmer lässt sich das auch super machen. Grundsätzlich war unser Zimmer abgesehen von der Straße ruhig. War eine gute Wahl, auch wenn alles teuer ist in NY,

Great stay! Updated, clean, central to subway line. Neighborhood setting might initially cause pause, but ultimately posed no challenge at all.

Hello, Unfortunately I’m very disappointed by my stay at this hotel! Like old customer for Marriott, I didn’t expect my last experience with this particular hotel. First thing was misleading hotel name ( TownePlace Marriott Long Island city/Manhattan View). The “view” was horrible, it was construction building, old factory, garbage…. Second thing surprise with parking! No parking available, only with valet with 55$/ night. When I booked the hotel was advertised with parking available and included in price!!! And third, very unsafe area to walk. At this point I’m very upset and disappointed about my experience

My only complaint is that if you face the front, expect to be woken up around 330am for about an hour or two due to construction. (Not from the hotel itself) it kind of sounds like garbage trucks. Aside from that I love this place! And the staff is always exceptional! Didnt get to see Kevin this time but Daniel is Always such a pleasure!!!! Excellent customer seevice

Hôtel très bien, literie confortable. Personnel très agréable. Ne pas avoir de préjugés sur ce quartier populaire. Avec ma fille , nous avons passé 11 jours à New York, jamais n’avons été en insécurité .

Le plus: le personnel est accommodant et serviable. Les équipements dans la chambre sont pratiques. Aliments pour les régimes sans gluten. Les moins: le climatiseur ne s’arrêtait pas et autour de l’hôtel beaucoup fument le canabis. Donc en fonction de son milieu on aime ou pas.
