Travel Inn & Suites - Sikeston/Miner (i-55 Exit-67)

This is the first review of anything I’ve ever written. That’s how frustrated and disappointed by my experience I am. Don’t believe the 8.3 or whatever Hotels.com tells you about this place. The room itself wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t great. Worst was that the hotel sounded louder than my dorm in college. People stomping around above me until after 2:00am, and the people across the haul yelling and coming and going out of their rooms, letting the door slam every. Single. Time. There seemed to be zero desire by the staff to make sure that the other guests received the respect and peace and quiet they deserve. Oh, and they don’t enforce the no smoking in rooms. I can’t stand the smell of smoke, and it kept me up most of the night. I’ve stayed at $50 hotels and $500 rooms all over the country (and Europe). This was the worst night of sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel.

The room was not very convenient. No room to put personal items in the bathroom except a rrally small table.

Great clean rooms!!!

Hotel was good for what we needed. Surface clean but hidden areas (behind the tv etc) needed a good cleaning. They did have breakfast but lacked in variety. Day staff was excellent but afternoon/evening was lacking in customer focus. Building was old but well kept.

Price is pretty cheap but not very impressive property. The breakfast is super-cheap and staff is not the friendly.

Rooms are always clean.

Horrible. Rude staff. Disguating room. Roaches. Bed bug signs and no linens bag for dirty linens

Our room had a piece of half eaten rock hard toast on the floor. Sticky soda stains on the nightstand. Dirt in the sink and pee stains on the toilet seat. Thank goodness my wife packs clorox wipes. The positive is the shower was squeaky clean and the towels and linens were clean and fresh smelling.

Fine for a quick overnight stop. Very minimal and bare bones. Small space, thin towels, etc. just ok

The room was nice and clean. When you walked in the front door you smelled cigarette smoke and weed. We did not sleep very well at all. We had to call down to the front of office around 11:30 because the people were parting upstairs. There was loud music and VERY loud walking all night. After we had called we started to smell weed. Even around 4:30 in the afternoon there was loud walking and we called to the front office then too. The front office guy said he was sorry and he had talked to them. I think people or their kids live up there. And at 6:30 this morning we were woke up by a leaf blower ! So let’s just say we didn’t get much rest.

Was surprised by a massive Jacuzzi and a clean room for a decent price. Do not expect a Jacuzzi though May be just I got the lucky room. In any case decent place

Very nice people, clean quickly on and off interstate highway

Tub was small with hand rails and water pressure not great. Sink was falling off the wall but they said it was for handicapped people. Bed ok

Although the exterior is nothing special, thos hotel is very nicely and recently remodeled. Rooms are crisp and clean, staff are friendly.

Property is always clean, rooms are nice.
