Dai An Phu Villa

I rarely post a review but really want to give this wonderful place a mention. We have been to Hoi An before and wanted a place away from the old town. From the moment we arrived, Ken and his staff did everything to make us feel welcome. The property is in very good condition and very clean. With only 9 rooms, they could provide very personalised service. We were there for 5 nights and we were upgraded to a bigger room after 2 nights when it became available. The balconies of all the rooms look out to a small pool, just big enough for laps and a tranquil street. Breakfasts were just right - you could order as much as you want, both Vietnamese and western food off a menu and the fruit platter that came with the order was excellent by itself. We got used to ordering our breakfasts the night before so as to have it well-prepared when we came back the next morning. An Bang beach is just 5 minutes away and it is a long stretch of very fine sand which goes on for kilometres with the usual beach deckchairs, kiosks, seafood restaurants and water sports facilities sporadically clustered around some parts of the beach, leaving other parts wonderfully quiet and unspoiled. We really enjoyed walking a couple of hours along it after breakfast! There were many small restaurants around the Villa and so finding a place to eat was not difficult. A taxi ride into town is about 15 minutes and not expensive. Ken's wonderful hospitality was the icing on the cake and made our stay really special!

The staff was extremely accommodating and our stay there was better because of them. If you chose to be closer to the beach then town, they’re the place to be!
