Rating & Review Keseluruhan Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek

First time staying here; Great experience! Extremely clean which is the first thing I evalute When I stay new places, very impressed! Front desk staff was very kind. I forgot a lint roller for my shirt and had a business meeting. The gal at the front desk have me some tape and was very helpful. She mentioned that she often helps guests with one off needs such as mine. Really appreciated her and her service, sadly didn’t get her name. Overall I will Stay here again when I’m in SLC, thanks for being excellent at what you do. It matters.

All was great! The only thing I didn't like was our bathroom shower had a half wall so water got out all over the toilet and floor. But not every room is like that.

Overall great experience from staff to amenities

It was quiet and close to everything

You can’t find a better place to stay…even if you pay more. That bed I did not want to leave, and that view is amazing. One of the coolest malls in the country is right around the corner. They have everything from Louis Vuitton to Zumiez, Apple Store is right there. We were there for a concert and we walked both ways. Hands down one of the best choices.

Understaffed.

The hotel and staff were great. It was a convenient location. We were disappointed that the attractive bar shown in the Expedia info was closed for construction. It was a main reason we selected this property. They had a temporary bar that was supposed to be open 3-10pm, but was not staffed as of 4pm.

I gave a 3 due to frustration with extra fees. First having to pay for parking, but worst was having to pay for the internet. Our TV kept going off during a movie. It did come back but annoying to watch.

Hotel restaurant is very poor. Extremely slow service and few food options. Room cleaning was well below average standard.

The AC did not work and when told they said they would fix it but never did. We had to keep the window open and there is a club across the street with loud music and people.

No pool and tv didn’t work. Didn’t know we had to pay $25 a day to park

The hotel wa under construction. You had to pay for the WiFi. The shower in our room was horrible. There was only a half glass wall. Water sprayed everywhere. We had to use all the towels to clean up The bathroom and got an attitude when we asked for extra towels. The sink leaked water. The door to the room was hard to open and close and would not close all the way unless you pulled it with a lot of force.

I was a bit put off that they had a section (main doors) blocked off. My bathtub had hair in it. They didn't refill my in room coffee and there was jo complimentary coffee available on the property. You also had to pay for Wi-Fi

Went here for the location. Super nice & convenient for a shopping trip to city creek. It’s literally an 30 second walk from the doors of the hotel to the mall. It’s like mall lodging, so you’ll pay for it but sometimes it’s nice to be able to brings bags back & rest when doing a big shopping haul. Easy digital check in & check out. Nice rooms, nice service. Clean.
